Hey prime, you ain't posted in a while. You all right? I remember somebody gave me your number a long time ago, and I talked to you about amps and stuff like that and all I knew with what they call you on the cb, I had no idea who I was really talking to, and I think you know what I mean. I'll never forget that.
They're pretty happy like that. Efficiency isn't that great but I'm used to seeing stuff like this done for DTV broadcast amps where they just have to be absurdly linear. I love that metering system you're using
Prime how can one get ahold of you to pick your brain on my beams. I got 4 on 22'. But id like to try 4 on 32'. Would like to talk to you about tuning.
Hey, just adjust length and looking at swr a few feet above the ground is not how this is done, cause we need impeadance (z) to be 50 ohms And we need reactance to be 0 at 50 ohms . And this need to be set at working height. Then we have the issues with the coax causing inductance and capacitence issues to tune when the antenna feed impedance doesn’t match the line impedance. With the money spent on this meter that shows all these factors and your using it as a swr meter? I guess that’s the level of expertise Here I in this video, who cares right? I mean just feed it more power ! You have an abundance of power. But hey I am just a ham, what would I know .
Mr prime your keeping the hobby alive, as a young buck 20 years old the Super Bowl and the legends it’s created is what got me into radio. Keep up the great work
Prime you come a long way from being in the hood as a rapper , now one on the number one tech in América, Im so proud t see a Blackman doing the dam thing bro.... watch you from the 90s rapping
As much as you don't claim it's entertaining I'm putting off CADing a socket for a 4CX24,000 to watch you do this. Far as I can tell the coaxial tubes are orphans for sockets. ED:In Solidworks (not sure about your application) there's a way to make lines that are just there for reference only, not actually for the cuts. Figured I'd throw that out there, may save you some trouble
Life is great. I grow up on alot of the big boys on the bowl, I used to hear you in the 80s on the bowl. At that time didn't know you was sir mix a lot, I enjoy your music back then too. I Just found out you are the same person 8 years ago, when I got back in cb. BUG aka 654 Las Vegas Nevada.
That breaks my heart to hear uncle pill say that he’s lost his appetite for the radio 😢 but he’s been through a lot this past little while so it’s understandable but still hard to hear….🙏
trying to get 10-8 on my 450 amp dc supply and I throw these 3 sticks in the air out west and see if I can get up into that apache. Makes me wana throw the 76 in the trash and run the flex radio out there. 419 uptown beantown got downnnnn.
