The evenings we spend with guys and the other musicians that come and go are Golden. Brings joy to the soul. I'm so glad we get to share in these times. 😄
I had the good fortune to talk with John a while before a show at a small venue just north of Chicago about 7 or 8 years ago. Of course I fanboy'd a bit (sorry John!). He told me he attributed his continued long life to having given up the booze. So the man's not just talented, he's smart to boot!
What a great evening. It warms my heart to see the young'uns appreciating music from our generation. Also, I just noticed Fiona wasn't the only girl there. There was another sitting closer to the door. She's second one in on the left with shoulder length brown hair. What a great trip, Paul! Thank you for inviting me.😃
John Mayall has been giving me so much enjoyment since about 1967 and on. I've only had the pleasure of seeing him 3x but I treasure each of those performances. Thank You!
Thanks for the share. Hey, negative commenters, give Rickie a break. She's doing good. Got a little of that New Orleans flair. Would have liked to have been there. Smooth sailing to her - take care.
...Ah...Rickie Lee Jones......She's made some of the greatest music ever written...Some of the greatest music I ever heard.....and thats a pretty damn good track record in my book....!!!!
I first heard Mose Allison when I played my college roomy's album on our hi-fi or maybe stereo...became a lifelong fan. He has a bio that's excellent reading too. 60 years ago almost...where did it go...
Wow, that's very elaborate. A lot of work went into setting all that up. I wonder if the person who put this up has worked in special effects or maybe at a theme park that used animatronics before.
