I don't mind being left behind of people, because they can be a real pain in the arse,....at times. (I have been told Plenty that I am No. 2,....lol.) I have no desire to be Number 1 at anything. I always admired Captain Kirk, but thought that I would rather be Mr. Spock, or Bones, because they had Kirk as a "Buffer" for the most part. The older I grow the more I see how silly people really are. How they lie to themselves and others. My whole life I heard how "Tough" some guys are,....then I saw them COMPLETLY Kowtow to Mask Mandate. And THEN I KNEW that I was NEVER a coward. I knew that THEY WERE! And I am NOT speaking of people who had to work and wear a mask. I am not even speaking of people who believed in that silly Beer Flu. The people who were FORCED to wear masks at their jobs are **Heroes** in My Eyes!!! They suffered to feed their families. Those who thought it was real, were just fooled into being scared. But to those "TOUGH GUYS",....I found out that they were Really the Cowards!! And now they make excuses! I would respect them MUCH more if they were just honest and admitted that they were intimidated. Through this whole thing, I learned that some people who I NEVER would have thought of as being "Tough",....were actually the Strong, Tough, no BS., people. And I shake their hands and Tell them how much I admire them. And how They inspired Me!
Well, I think it starts when you enter the sandbox. You are playing with a truck and a boy takes it from you. Your mind says: "NO!,...I was enjoying that!" So you try to take it back and get kicked in the Nads. You just learned Enjoyment, Loss, Desire and Pain,...all in one shot. How else are we to be? The thing the little boy who kicked you now NEEDS to learn is; Respect, Honor, Empathy and having to deal with Emptiness of his desires. But few parents are willing to teach this. And there are no medals or awards for that.
