A true standout on this disc, which is a high compliment. Thank you Wil Ackerman and Windham Hill for putting New Age music on the map, long before its path was charted. Still amazing music to this day. Can’t wait for the documentary!
This song, specially this cover, is a Holy tune, for me. Randy was a hero. More than that: he gave his life up, saving his son from the sea. The boy was drowning. Randy went after him, into the water. Just in time to save his son, and loose his life. Now he rests in peace in deep waters. And in heaven, with the only God, Creator of the Universe. Or Multiverses.
Newcastle City Hall, late 1988, aged 18, the night before my gf, now wife and I saw Jimmy Page there, we saw this. Afterwards we chatted with Randy California, Steve Howe and Robbie Krieger in the bar as Alvin Lee and Leslie West stood nearby. Far out!!
A friend's Father who play'd in the Edmonton Symphony would ask his father to hear the latest band he was in in the Jasper Area ,,, His comment was always the same ... " IOf You Can't Be Good .... Be Loud !" The Williams are GOOD +
Lucky to catch him live - a relatively intimate gig at Brunel Uni. A great slot in Night of Guitars. Shredding has been mentioned, but I agree with other comments that his melodic quality eclipsed just speed - similar to Guthrie Govan today. Young gun shredders are a dime a dozen on RU-vid, but you can forget artistry. RIP a true Artist. ♥️✌
Come down off your throne And leave your body alone Somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting so long Somebody holds the key Well, I'm near the end And just ain't got the time And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home Come down on your own And leave your body alone Somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting all these years Somebody holds the key Well, I'm near the end And just ain't got the time Oh-oh, and I'm wasted And I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home Still I can't find my home And I ain't done nothing wrong But I can't find my way home Terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia
A mi me gusta cantarla de manera latina mi papá se inventó como que la manera latina que decía en la feria del este por dos pesos un ratoncito mi padre compró y vino el gato que se comió el ratón y al mercado mi padre compró y así
I saw/heard Alex in Boulder. Before playing this beautiful gem, he said it was inspired by "Don't Stand So Close To me" by the Police. . . . No matter what inspired Alex, this is a "keeper." The spacious beauty of this piece fits perfectly with traveling in the Four Corners area, and other open places out West.
Blessings upon whoever posted this, those who KNOW, KNOW, Steve "THE DEACON" Hunter is simply one of the best of all time, he's worked with the "who's who" of modern music, and there's a REASON why! I consider myself lucky to have seen him back in the day, this is a fine illustration as to WHY he's held in such high regard! Thanks again from all true music fans for posting this. Oh, and a shout out to Peter Haycock from the Climax Blues Band also on this, I saw them open for RAINBOW on the "Rising" tour at the Starlight Ampitheatre in Burbank, California, and Climax Blues Band was one great opening act that night!
I was there, working in north Wembley when the manager was talking on the radio about this gig that night, went to Hammersmith but it was sold out, a ticket tout said are you after a ticket... showed me but I thought to good a seat... no chance.. but one of the security said I'd get in with it.... 3rd row back, end of the row, centre row... paid £15
