As a GenX’r I was forced to just Deal with the trauma of my Baby Boomer parents raised in the country of the segregated South during Jim Crow era and raising new aged independent thinking Millennial who fought against the Baby Boomers teachings on religion, lgbtq rights etc. I had to evolve and do the work on my mental health to heal from my trauma in order to have a good relationship with my daughter and not transfer that trauma on to her. In fact. She worked for Nami when getting her Masters and recommended it to me.

NAMI please advocate for mental health treatment and diagnosis to be changed here in the U.S. The medical system here creates a dependency on medicine that doesn't work and doctors who don't help but who care only about their money. This is how the U.S. makes lifelong customers of patients who are mentally sick and need medication. Patients like myself want a cure, not a life time of treatment! Stop treating people like myself at psychiatric hospitals like animals where you lock us inside the hospital until we take medication and keep us dependent on your medical system indefinitely. The Lanterman-Petris-Short Act needs to be changed and abolished as the law for how people are treated in the mental health system. I was abused in the psychiatric hospital: taken against my will, striped of all my belongings, forced to take antipsychotic medications as a condition to leave, and locked in the psychiatric hospital facility indefinitely. ABUSE and INHUMANE treatment! Please world, care about this subject because one day you might or someone you love might go there for your "mental crisis" And they don't treat you well. As a customer, a client, a patient...whatever you think fits best, my review of this system is negative, with low ratings, and poor review. You never want to go here. The mental health facility and program is abusive. These people can't cure you. They just care about checking into their job to get more money than the other professions. This isn't the place to go for healing or to feel safe. On the contrary, when I had a 51/50 hold, and 52/50 hold, I felt like my life was in danger because other people claimed to know what was best for me, which isn't true for a bunch of greedy people who I don't know, and who don't know me!

My experience was that I got much more support as a young person with a mental illness which dropped off at age 18. I think it would help mentally ill youth to have a bridge from being a teenager to being an adult. Of course I am almost 5O now. Hopefully this has improved since I was young.

Uykun bozulmazsa duygu durumun bozulmaz. Bipolar atağı yaşamazsın. Ankara da Hacettepe Üniversitesi Psikiyatri Bölüm Başkanı Prof .Berna ULUĞ sayesinde bipolardan kurtuldum.(12 yıldır hiç atak yaşamadım.) Bende eskiden mani atak olurdu sadece.

What about the involuntary ppl, in dire need with constant episodes, policed called but they just released roaming the streets constant psychotic episodes. They don't care, Parent has no say or rights. All you hear is I'd he in harm or at risk of harming anyone. Next on the news after hurting or killing someone, now to prison.

You do not have to live with anxiety or depression or any mental illness God can set you free the devil and the demons only want to steal kill and destroy because they hate us very much but God loves us and cares about us so very much He is the Greatest Father and the Bestest Friend get to know Him ask Him to reveal Himself to you and He will 😊❤

Naughty or nice is a harvest construct, as Krampus is a creature of the harvest. Nice is helping the family with the farm work; naughty is not. This was more important when a bad harvest spelled ruination for the family.

Growing up with Autism was always very difficult for me because autistic people like me back then used to be labeled as someone that is a problem. This commercial was so profound and deep because we need to listen and be there for kids and people who have mental health issues. Nobody deserves to be alone. Nobody is "naughty" or "nice". Sometimes we just need some understanding.

Black people know all too well about mental health stigmas. Our communities demean and ridicule others for having mental illness, yet we're the most untreated population

Yea but the problem is these so called experts dont what the hell they're talking about/doing. For instance some undergrads decided it would be "funny" to get themselves locked up in a mental institution by presenting as having text book "mental illnesses" and then when they tried to tell them it was a joke they didn't believe them even though ALL patients knew there werent sick in the head. So finally they got released and another "doctor" said that could neve happen at MY hospital so then they said okay then over the next six months we will send an undisclosed number of flae patients to you and that six months turned that "hospital" upside down and then they finally agreed on twenty false patients and they actually sent ZERO! You have gone from the saving of sinful souls to the curing of sick minds and its Satan's master stroke and he has deluded you as well. I bet you even tell yourself that people are basically "good" dont you? Despite the OVERWHELMING evidence to the contrary. tell me do you lie to yourself as well? How do you do that? I mean i understand fantasy I have had a few about you or rather your character Zoey but I never actually believed it was real. You seen to think that you have a mental health issue and that "not my fault" but it IS your fault. Denial isnt going to help you though. I wish I could make you see it!
