I've been a DJ for nearly 20 years, entertaining some of the most prestigious and discerning clients around the US. I've worked in some of the biggest nightclub in the tri-state area of NY, NJ and PA. I absolutely love what I do, and hope that my experience can create a new generation of DJs that can succeed in ways that I never could. solid choices. mp3pool(sony records songs are allowed here), Heavyhits(good selection of afro, international music, and their playlists) , Latenight record pool(underground B side hip hop rnb), and DMS(solid backlog of popular songs)
16 gigs 😅 I guess that's a lot for mac users. For windows that's like the minimum if you want a decent. "Beast machines" even a decade ago were like 64 GB. Especially if you did video editing and there starting to become 128 GB
BPM SUPREME IS THE MOST GARBAGE RECORD POOLS OUT THERE. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. FOR EVERY "ONE SONG", THEY HAVE 500 DIFFERENT REMIXES......WHICH ARTIFICIALLY CREATES THE APPEARANCE THEY HAVE A "LARGE" COLLECTION, WHEN IN FACT, "THEY DO NOT". If you're a "Young DJ" just starting out, and you want to quickly establish a library, subscribe to these CLOWNS for only One Month. DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING YOU CAN.......THEN QUIT. Unfortunately, I can't offer you a better alternative because I'm still searching myself. DJCity and Heavy Hits are "Better" than BPM, but they also suffer from REMIX GALORE SYNDROME. Among ALLLLL of the Record Pools, BPM IS AT THE FUCKING BOTTOM!!!!!
So what if you have a MacBook Air and it does the same thing by freezing when you’re playing music it glitches when switching over to a different track
What is the verification process like for these pools? I’m not an established DJ but am looking to build a library and hopefully get there in the not too distant future.
Respect. You’re the first DJ that I’ve seen do a tutorial about music organization that makes sense. I already have a near perfect method to organize my Serato crates. It’s taken me eighteen years of occasional revisions, but I’m 90% happy with it. But, I’m constantly searching for new ideas, methods, and techniques. I’ve been using Mixed in Key and Platinum Notes for fifteen years now. I won’t put anything into my Serato without initially running it through said software. However, I’ve never heard of Lexicon DJ? I’m going to have to look into it. Solid video. Continued success with your channel.
I recently upgraded to the latest version of Serato, I’ve been running Cerrado since day one…. I’ve never had the issues. I’m having now., im 4 to 5 gigs a week every week I’m experiencing a one to 2 second audio dropout, about every 20 minutes… I like you have never had this issue. And it’s driving me nuts to fix it. I thought it was a latency issue.
DJ city is great. I honestly had most and although there are gems to find on any pool, I stick with DJ city. DJ city has came a long way. They now have extended the music backlog which is great. Pay every 6 months and save money too.
Recently I used DjCity and after 15 days I cancelled my membership.. selection based on Genres is totally a bullshit on DjCity. Didn’t find a single Good Techno and Psy trance .. when I selected Techno Genre website was showing lady gaga, Britney Spears and few hip hop artists but didn’t show any techno track or artist
Followed this video to hopefully get Serato working and it didn’t fix the issue. 3.0.4 and above just freezes every track loaded. It only works 3.0.0 to 3.0.3. I think the stems algorithm update messed Serato up
Same thing is happening to me but the opposite versions 3.0 to 3.0.3 works perfect when I go above 3.0.3 to the newest one that is out today it does not work. I move a song into the deck and I get rainbow loading circle the. The program crashes. It does not do this with 3.0.0 to 3.0.3. It’s horrible. Great safe by the way!
HeavyHits is Great, just more International music, They have Good dj’s that Share their Edits, and they Charge $9.00 to $24.95 , LateniteRecordPool is $40 plus, Majority of these Sites Provide House and Techno Music, Limited Oldies Music,
This might be a dumb question but I’m new, if you subscribe to a pool and download a bunch of songs, can you cancel the subscription after and just keep the music?
After trying more than 8 dj pools dj city and bpm supreme are the Best , bpm S for throwback and new catálogue and city for new , and throwback remixes .

My HP named Big Black has these freezing and skipping problems. I intend to remove from Big Black the unnecessary programs I don't need, I don't play stupid video games anyway, Big Black is music only and I have a gig tomorrow night. Hopefully your solutions will keep any gremlins from riding with me! I will go through Big Black and start unloading!
