All that lighting engine work and no way to have it affect the brightness of a static sprite overlay so that it makes it look like the lighting is affecting the cockpit, dang.
Surely MW2019 had some features lacking and most people didn't like the maps, but the gunplay indeed is very good ! Its well balanced, crisp, sounds great. And I don't get why they can't achieve better graphics yet 😅 (except for lightning, slightly better in newwer titles but I prefer the overall image clarity / crispiness of mw2019) !
Its true ! Only thing newer cod have that is slightly better is the lightning part of the graphics, but I still prefer MW2019's overall graphics ! The feel tho, it truly is undefeated.

@@alexdunbar824 I never played the 1st one but I think you don't need to play it to try the upcoming sequel ! Its an post apocalyptic-ish (in chernobyl) fps game. Graphics will probably be insane ! I prefer that kind of gameplay too
Tbh its crazy lol... graphics are crispier, gameplay is better, gunplay is way better, maps well, might be its slight downside (i like most of them but i know the overall community didn't like them lol). Even sounds are better... only thing better in newer titles is the lightning part of graphics...
I started playing GE:S in 2006 when it was in Beta. Its come a loooooong way since then and has to be one of the highest quality, well-polished source mods ever made, that fans of the original Goldeneye should love.
I still love it but unfortunately the playerbase is very, very low nowadays :( an update to the engine to something more recent could help repopulate maybe... for the first time yesterday I logged in and there was literrally 0 people online :(
Hey 😃 you have to get the "Source SDK 2007" in steam, then go to deshl2 dot com to download the mod (about 5 GB) ! Its all free. Note that 4K breaks the fonts in the menus (gets so small its unreadable). Use 3200x1800 instead, the game will look clean like in this video !

Hey mate, thanks for the comment 😊 ! Very good deal at that price for sure ! The Xbox Series S is designed to render games at 1440P. I can't say for sure what will be displayed at 4K, but here's what the consoles are mainly capable of, depending on individual titles; Xbox Series S : 1080p 60/120fps;1440p 30/60fps. Xbox Series X : 1080p 60/120fps; 1440p 30/60/120fps; 4K 30/60fps. I'd say your Xbox Series X will output most games at 1440p, and your TV will upscale to 4K in some way. The biggest difference for me was the jump from 60 to 120 (144 in my case) fps. Then 1080p to 1440p ! I recently switched to 4K 144fps but games like bf2042 I achieve around 90 to 110 fps at 4k with my current pc. What games do you play mostly ??

I bought it on release but refunded it (could not even play, kept crashing lol) bought it at discount at about season 4, its fun ! I don't think its a good battlefield, but its a great fps game !

@@LoganWolf have you tried the ray-tracing version of Descent 1 ? I did the first two levels its amazing how lightning changes everything in old games 🤩
