You seem like a laid back dude to fish with. Another great video. I need to catch Kokanee again. Only time I fished for Kokanee wash at Shaver Lake with a buddy and the wake boarders were pricks. It was like they wanted to get as close to us while we were trolling as possible. Loved waking us. Young punks with 4-5 boats in their group. I wish they would give out huge fines for actions like that.
It’s seems that the Mac’s aren’t that aggressive this time of year. July and August. Any reason why. I’m thinking it’s because of all the cutthroat that they are stocking. I think the Macs are gorging themselves
Hey Cash! If you ever need someone to split gas with let me know! I live in Christmas Valley and just bought a boat myself but would love to get on the water with you sometime to learn what you know.
Great job man lovin the big Mac catch! I've just moved here April 2nd and have gone out twice trying to get some Mackinaw in my 15.5 Gregor welded aluminum fishing boat and have yet to get into em! Hard to find the fish in such a big lake but man is it cool to be out there!
Hey Mr. King, we were out there that very same day fishing for Kokanee. Maybe you saw my son and I on a Sea-Doo FishPro? But it was a beautiful day for sure and thank you for making this video.
The best fresh water fish I caught taste wise was a Kokanee from Donner Lake. I have fished Lake Tahoe at least 5 times on charters and never once did we target Kokanee. I’m wondering why that is now after seeing your videos and others.
I just subscribed after your comment about fisherman not sharing their secrets but you don’t care. I always think it’s stupid when somebody goes on a fishing forum or on-line service then tries to be secretive. “Hey jackass if you don’t want to share then don’t post!” is what I want to say to them. Do you take out strangers who pitch in on gas, food, drink? Great scenic videos as always.
I have lived in Tahoe for a bit now I am trying to find a deep water setup for lake trout..I haven’t had luck yet I might have to go to cabelas or Scheels to find some luck.
Not going to lie. The end bit sounded tad but racist. You do realise your ancestors are European settlers. So the land doesn't actually belong to the European white man. It belonged to the the indigenous people who came from Asia and Siberia over 13000 years ago.
You're my kind of fisherman "King"!!! I agree, FJB and MAGA TRUMP 2024!!! I used to backpack up in the Desolation wilderness up above those waterfalls you showed when I was MUCH younger!!! Along with the "Lakes Basin"! I LOVE the high Sierra's!!! Keep up the GR8 vids!!! ~Chris
GR8 day on one of my FAVE lakes!!! Used to have a cabin up there on the North shore near Homewood...Miss it a LOT, but not so much with the tons of people up there any more...GR8 vid!!!
