The what-ifs start for people as soon as they get involved with this organization. Nothing but panic for people who used to be calm. And the payment increases have been outrageous and with no warning.
I wish the homes this organization built were safe and up to code, and that the people they force into these houses were looking to buy a home. That they followed their contracts and didnt destroy once healthy families.....by making them move into them and keeping them stuck in toxicity leaving them disabled
As a Habitat for Humanity homeowner, I have agreed this program has helped my family so much for cutting down the budget and not worried about rent increases. I have shared on my youtube of how my house looks like and how I feel about this program as well to empower more people apply.
What an awesome question! Others are ~ Do they take into consideration the impact on the wildlife? Do they price those new homes where the locals can actually afford them? I was born here and all of the older subdivisions allow substantially more space between the houses. The rule where I live now (in North Central Lake County) used to be 1 home every 2.25 acres. Not certain what it is now but 3 homes per acre doesn't seem to allow enough room for any of the wildlife to thrive. I seems to create congestion and an unnecessary strain on the resources that we All need to sustain a viable presence and live cohesively together. Just my thoughts...
