This is not for those of us who have a Quest 3. It’s for Quest2 users that want an affordable upgrade. Not only is this a bad comparison it doesn’t make sense.
I just wish Sony would let us use PSVR 2 & make all previous PSVR 1 content available for PSVR2😢 I decided to go back & replay Astro Bot & I moved my previous setup from my bedroom to my living room & it completely messed with my settings 🤦♂️ Now when I try & look around in game the “camera” moves with me 🤷♂️
Nah, bring on the Quest 4 with a 200 degree FOV, 2560x1440p resolution per-eye, pancake lenses, internal storage 2 TB. And a nice comfortable head-strap included. Then, maybe...
DUDE, come on! The chipset might require more power, the resolution also dictates power consumptions. And the 3s has the same resolutuon as Q2, and nowhere near as Q3. So Q3s' battery longevity make sense. Do none of these VR hardware reviewers ever play pc games at maxloads or what?!
Why do they alle make the padding with folding lines? They mark my face after a playing session. The stock facial interface of the Quest 3 doesn't have those folding lines.
Bugs like the one that bricked my quest 2. If are interested in the story I'll upload the video of the bug and send you the emails I've exchanged with them
So, prescription lenses for the quest 2 will work with it? These can be pricy for some prescriptions, and I would feel better if they are interchangeable. I already preordered quest 3s and I have a quest 2.
100% agree, nobody should ever use Fresnel lenses again they are horrible. I’m pissed meta used them because I was going to get my friend a 3s for his birthday but not anymore
How they had to do these things to make it affordable plus just like the quest 3 they most likely arent going to make large profit margins its a great price for what it is
Really trying hard to find good things about this headset, #2 was ridiculous it better accept quest 3 headstraps since it is part of the quest 3 family
I still think it's a completely pointless upgrade even from the quest 2. Just doesn't have or do enough. However, I'm glad that they're still at least putting out new devices and pushing the tech forward. As niche as it still is I'm happy they aren't just throwing in the towel.
^ literally this. people are nonstop complaining that it doesnt have pancake lenses, not understanding they cant have that low price with those newer lenses.
