If youre struggling to line up the new touchpad I found holding down the keyboard mouse buttons with one hand and letting the touchpad rest just over them gives you a perfect fit without snagging the buttons. It also fixed an issue I had where the right touchpad click needed a lot of force to actuate.
Thanks for the video. Mine says Battery 1: 0% and it doesn’t charge. Battery 2 charges and works well. Can I just use it like this? I think maybe the internal battery is fried.
Thank You very much for Your video! I tried to put in a KingSpec M.2 Sata 1 TB SSD 42mm in the WWAN slot. It fitted well but it was not recognized neither by the system, UEFI, Windows...Where could be my mistake?
Is this possible on a T490? Have one with iGPU which is used intensively and is heating up significantly. Will change the paste but im wondering if something like this could be used for longevity and extra processing power
I have T480 i7-8550U. The power usage is reduced, which is good. But the temperature…it still peaks over 95. Many people warned against i7 CPUs for their terrible temperatures.
That's wonderful, thank you for the tip! I have a T480s here, do you think the upgrade fits with the same parts as in the t480? Thanks and keep up the great work ❤
У всех ноутбуков Lenovo замена термопасты работает именно так? Я знаю что у них отличается структура этого всего но это видео можно использовать для других видов ноутбука?
There are many different Reverso's, and this is definitely one of my favorites. I love the day/night indicator on both faces, the offset dial, the ability to jump forwards and backwards, the big date, the small seconds, and the 8 day power reserve. What I don't get is why they printed every single hour marker digit, except the 2. They cut off the 4 and the 7, and could/should've done the same with the 2, but it's completely omitted. I'm torn between this one, and the current duoface with the rectangular small seconds, and the Clous de Paris texturing on the GMT side. The new version looks cleaner, but this version is more impressive and more practical imho.
Maybe I’m being bias, my parents had both the large automatic and med quartz MK1 stainless steel during my childhood, probably purchased around early 1998 not entirely sure - tank francaise is not just a watch to me, it means beyond a lot more than that, simple, understated yet elegant, myself personally is also an owner of a mark1 large automatic stainless steel, although it may not be the best timepiece I’ve ever owned, however in my option it’s the best, ( probably because of its weight and elegant appeal, and fond memories of my happy childhood ) I must say after owning my first Cartier timepiece since 2001 ( Santos octagon auto , santos gablee x2, must de 21, ballon bleu42 auto, 2 tank francaise mk1 auto and a 2018 onwards santos medium auto, this still takes my breath away. ( both Mk1 and 2, it makes me smile ) Me personally thinks the mark2 large tank francaise reminds me of a mk1 large auto merged with mk1 medium quartz, as the early production tank francaise med quartz do happen to have a date display on the right next to 3oclock. In terms of the new bracelet it’s losing its specialness, as it so similar to the ballon bleu, it kinda takes away its shine as the mk1 tank francaise, and also too bulky for my liking. I wish in the future Cartier will produce the large model auto in full yellow gold, or maybe also offer optional quick switch opition like my the current offering santos and pasha.
The Cartier Santos is an iconic beautiful but I would not buy one. Why? Because the Santos is extremely scratch prone, especially on the high polished bezel. Cartier knows about this flaw and refuses to fix it, meanwhile, RU-vidrs keep making excuses for the flawed and subpar metal casing. Silver colored watches, such as stainless steel and titanium, are the defacto metal of choice. Why, in 2024, aren't manufacturers making "scratch-proof" watches? There are PVD coatings and nomenclatures like 316L steel, super titanium, TinSkin 3.0, and platinum encasements. A company as profitable and well funded as Cartier has no excuse for making watches that are scratch prone. Invest a little R&D and fix this problem. It's not just a Cartier problem, but most luxury watchmakers don't put in the effort to ensure their watches are "scratch-proof" or as scratch resistant as possible. It's a shame. For this reason alone I would never buy a Cartier Santos. Profits above all. So what are the most scratch resistant metals? Tegiment steel and UltraHex titanium.
I don't have exact temperatures for you, but the T480 kept cycling the old single heat pipe fan on and off before, even when it was just idling. This no longer happens with the dual heat pipe fan.
Hi Everyone, I bought the 15.6'' 4k x 40Pin NV156QUM-N44 für Lenovo Thinkpad T570 T580 P51s P52s Non-Touch-Display ... I will then by a new cable. any suggestions on this CABLE topic? I would appreciate your help.
I'm looking at getting a Lenovo P50 and under-volting but all I know and feel comfortable with adjusting is to lower the voltage. I want to make sure my laptop (when I get it) doesn't get hot as the P50 is known to get very toasty. I want to under-volt it, but, yeah, in Linux even though I'm a complete newbie to Linux (I'll be using Linux Mint I think). Any advice, tips to keep things super simple and effective in lowering the under-load temps in Linux on the P50 would be appreciated. Thankies. :)
I got a problem with the middle click. It's sometimes pressed without me pressing it. If i remove the smaller flexible cable, will it also disable the left and right click? 😢 Please reply.
I prefer the original design of the Tank francaise. Why mess with a classic? It would be nice if Cartier offered both options or at least have the original available as a special order.
Hello. I'm not here for undervolting. I'm planning to get t580 next week and what can you say it's endurance? I am not planning to play games on it. Probably used for work like mails, sheets and lil bit of RU-vid. I'm planning to buy a 72wh battery. But in your opinion, is the t580 that power hungry? Or should I go for a t590 which is known for its endurance. Both are offered to me for 350 usd.
