This is an excellent description of the ATC quality. As an ATC user since 1998, I fully agree with your findings on the magical mid driver. I also love the ATC bass delivery, its so accurate and distortion free, that's one of the reasons why they can sound bass light. For even more dynamics and deeper bass you need the bigger active ATCs. Well done for a great video.

Idk why people get so upset about this. People don’t *have* to find anyone attractive, and can’t help who they’re attracted to. On average black women have higher testosterone levels, and thus more masculine/less delicate features. I can’t think of a single black woman (who isn’t mixed race) that I find physically attractive, not one. I like feminine faces, slim but curvy figures, blonde hair, classic European beauty. I use an Anthem STR Integrated, which is mentioned and reviewed on this channel. I did not keep the Revela's as covered in latest vid. They are excellent speakers, but ultimately I felt my listening space and gear was not the right match for me.

Reviews of Ryan speakers are rare. I always will have this brand in my heart but at the time they were being developed I could not afford them. My local dealer in Honolulu, Stewart Ono of Audio Directions Ltd (aka: UncleStu and previously UncleStu52 on internet audio forums) helped assist and give feedback to the Ryan brothers. He was also a dealer when they were known previously as Ryan Acoustics in the 1990s before they closed up shop. I remember being in Stewart's showroom listening to the Ryan prototypes and doing his tweaks with the R610 back in 2014 (also the R620 before his passing in Dec 2015). Ryan Speakers made Stewart's store their first dealer worldwide because of his feedback of their speakers.
I try and review products I think I will enjoy, and reviews not common. I'm happy I took the chance on the brand for both reasons. I'm both surprised and dismayed they are not better known. They will be my reference speakers from now on.
@@hawaiiguy1 They could charge 2-3X what they do and I would not blink and eye from an audio POV. I would expect a fancier looking cabinet and such, and they had that in the model they discontinued.

How far off the back wall (everyone else calls it the front wall, lol) do you think you need to place them? I could get them a bit under two feet off the back wall. Enough? I am a bit leery of ported designs, have always used closed cabinets, but these speakers sound like I should give them some consideration. Do you think stuffing the port would be a reasonable option? I'm not sure what the minimum distance from the wall would be for them and would contact Ryan about it. Mine are approox 2' currently which seems more than sufficient for them to "breath" as they say. I would not personally stuff a port of a ported speaker not intended for it, but I know some do. This video has great value to me. My mother is fighting an advanced breast cancer which after 8 years developed metastasis (bones mainly). Two years later, now, she's in a very bad condition. @@willbrink Yes, i use stevia daily for many years. Just last night i had to change clothes 6x, so much sweating. Could it be that it detoxifies me so strong? I tried different types of glutathione earlier, never had these issues.

Well, if I was going to test this, the first thing that comes to mind is to test primates for ASCVD. If possible, I would study wild vs. captive primates, too. I dug around a little. There have been a few studies on primates. I couldn't find much out about them. However, if wild primates eating their normal diets get it, then I would tend to think it was "normal." If they don't, then I would say it wasn't normal. It does seem we have a limited lifespan. Maybe ASCVD is the preferred method to limit it. For me personally, I would much prefer ASCVD over cancer or Alzheimer's.
I did run across this while searching for studies: atherosclerosis-journal article 0021-9150(74)90008-2. That's pretty interesting. They were able to initiate atherosclerosis in primates by increasing levels of carbon monoxide.

Does creatine cause hair loss, it looks like it! Cigarette smoking was once thought to be safe and even presented as having health benefits, it took decades for the horrorfic effects of smoking to be understood.
@@willbrink apparently creatine doesn’t cause hair loss but all the promoters here on RU-vid appear to be bald. Cigarettes didn’t cause cancer until many decades of ‘cigarettes provide satisfaction and are good for you’ until it was discovered they are unrelenting killers. Creatine supplements haven’t been around long enough to say with any confidence on a scientific basis that it’s safe to take in any quantities. Most people have normal levels of creatine from eating healthy foods, exceeding the normal range levels of creatine is pointless at best and decidedly dangerous at worst.
