The University of Melbourne requires its undergraduate students to undertake a stream of subjects outside the faculty of their major. The process is called “Breadth”. Students are required to take Breadth subjects in years 1, 2 & 3 of their degree. The University of Melbourne is Australia’s highest ranking university.
Great vid. Stumbled upon this vid as a random Australian and wanted to add a few additional tips. 1. Don't waste luggage space on fashion. Simple as. One country is not another, better to buy what you need here regarding whatever you end up wearing so why bring stuff you will carry around and not use. 2. Catch a train/bus out of the city areas. Check google maps for towns or cities within a city (Australian cities are quite large geographically with many towns within each 'city'). 3. Cafes, cafes cafes. Food is great, cheaper if you travel outside of the central areas of cities, well worth some time investigating. 4. Coffee, you know its good. 5. Aussies in general. We can be quite confronting sometimes. Personally I spent a bit of time out of the country and noticed this when I first returned. Its mostly not personal. Roll with it. If you are not getting punched or made to feel less, then its probably just a joke and meant to be taken with a thick skin. 6. Have the time of your life, relax, life is too short to worry :)
I approve of anything that brings our two great countries together. without saying any American is welcomed with open arms when they step on our great land. THANK YOU
