Hi Joe remembering when we sing this song with you at Christ church Israel jean walker praying for Israel we were in the land last year feast of tabernacles.ftom Scotland.❤🇮🇱🙌🙏
A friend gave me a 1972 Kasuga KF-460 12-string guitar with no nut or tuners. Headstock had broken off a la les paul and been re-glued . Needs a lot of work, but the body and fingerboard are in great shape for a 50 year old guitar.
Rock on Joe! Thank you for doing this. It has blessed me today! You made the connect2 jersusalem version relatable and cool. I as well thank them for figuring it out. Their version has its own awesomeness, but yours is like way more intimate. Forgive my poor communication. But awesome! This is a monster achievement. And you memorized all the verses? Dude! Praise Yah!
Nice playing and guitar! I love vintage Japanese guitars! Also play my Kasuga 6 string in my newest video (Blues) Those guitars really have a certain vibe to them that i call "soul" Also have a EL Maya EM1300 Thats a real gem 💎 Cheers brother 🍀
Wow, great video, love the sound of your guitar! Yeah, the vibe of the old Japanese acoustics is really unique, and they don’t tend to cost a fortune. The neck width and action of the Kasuga in this video would have taken me a considerable amount exercise to get the hand strength to survive playing an entire gig, though. 😂💪🏽
@@dustybuffalo9973 Thanks my friend! Yess i had the same issue with my 12 strings. Some play very hard while others play smooth haha. Gotta love the 12 string sound with the 2nd set strings a little off tune👌 Cheers
Hahaha yeah, I don’t normally wear one whilst rockin 🎸😂😂. Hey man, I’ll have an old school funk fusion jam coming out soon from James and I, keep an eye out here. 😉 Great to hear from you, bro!
As an American married to an Argentine I'm with you Dusty. So much "extra" around the ceremony and everybody *everybody* has the official way you're supposed to do it. I'd also add that the first few draws from a mate with fresh yerba are very bitter. If it's too bitter some people either spit it out (and refill - repeat until less bitter) and/or spike it with lemon/sugar. Also - this is something people enjoy at home by themselves as well as being a social drink. But either way - typically something you would never order in a restaurant/cafe.
Hi Cynthia! Not a tacky question at all, it’s good to know what’s ok to do when you’re interacting with different cultures! In this case, you wouldn’t want to wipe the straw unless there was really something gross on it. The good news is, it’s perfectly acceptable to turn down a mate, no questions would be asked!
You know, I don’t remember if I tried, but I can’t imagine that would be the case. The Jack that comes with the powerchip is even stereo, one for the pickup signal and one for the fishman. So I’m 90% sure the regular magnetic pickups would work just fine even if the piezo didn’t have a battery.
I’m late to this post. I just bought a MIM 75th Anniversary Telecaster. What Powerbridge model (the one featured in this vignette) is a direct replacement for the MIM Tele? Any input/feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
Hi William, the MIM is a great tele, I love the higher output pickups! The Powerbridge in this video is a VMV with a powerchip, but to be honest, the Telecaster isn’t a complicated design; any Fishman telecaster powerbridge should work. The only real consideration will be where to hide the 9v battery; you might just pull the control panel off and see if you can cram one in there somewhere. That might tell you if you’ll need a separate battery cavity or not. Best of luck, and any questions, I’m here!
Hi! This is definitely a sound you can replicate: you’ll need a guitar, a Fishman Powerbridge, a Fishman powerchip, and a guitar tech who knows what he/she is doing. That’s it! After it’s all set up, you can get this exact tone with just a little eq and reverb. Good luck!
You guys forgot chin and it’s the one word I have a hard time remembering. So, I forgot it today when I went to interpret. I think you both should see if you could add that or something. Anyways; Chin: barba.
