just to let you know there are P Settings that can change the breaks and other settings as well you turn the scooter on and hold down power and mode till you see it saying P1
29" Maxxis DHF 2.4 and 2.5 tires (and some DH tires) will not go on a Bontrager Comp 30 wheel w/o ruining the rim strip, marking up the wheels and nearly snapping your tire levers. I believe that is why the rim strip and valve no longer come with the wheel. Buy just the wheel and instead use a good quality rim tape. If I could be assured anotyher tire would fit this rim easily I would buy them. Any input is welcome!
@@alexrudner5548 Apollo has a one year warranty on new scooters. I personally wouldn’t be too concerned about the battery, I’ve had zero issues with mine and Ive had it a few years.the ghost is a beast of a scooter 🛴
OK that dirt road to get there is a logging road. Depending on what they are currently logging depicts the status of that road so be prepared because sometimes it will have fresh new large rock on it . There are many more miles of trails, but they are not all upkeep and maintained.. I just can’t stress enough when coming off trails and crossing over the roads watch for truck traffic especially log trucks. It’s a beautiful place. Come check it out and enjoy.
On the 4Runner use 4low atrac 🤙🏾 or use your rear locker 4Runners have rear locker’s 😊love that 4Runner jeep unless it’s a old in-line 6 the new ones there fiat engines👎🏾
@@motosnav339 thanks, this guy is selling me one that he got in April 2021 and said it was a 1000 watt , then I reviewed and read the new ones are 1000 and first model which is in 21 is 800, he's selling for $900 with 130 miles on it, I see the news ones are $1500, is it worth buying the used one? Thanks again for any reply
Use to be longer trails but they are closing most of the trails after logging.. only 1.5 miles each way. Use to be able to hit trails up there and do 60 miles if you knew the area. But dug everything up. Haven't been up there sense 2018. Nikolai in oregon outdoors wuana is a good place to ride
theres a way to increase accelerating on the ghost without actually opening it up. also i managed to hit 36-37 on it im wondering why it only went to 32 for you
Hey Adam, thank you so much for the comments and feedback. I think I was only able to hit 32 based on the cold temperatures I was riding in. Over the summer in warmer months I was able to get better performance and hit that 35-37mph.
This is like 30 minutes from my house. I take my off-road Miata out there all the time! Taking the logging roads to the real trails is where it’s at. There just by staging area is quite boring. There are so many more trails out there that most likely aren’t on your device. Us locals go out and make trails all the time.
Be careful about that front tire spinning with that torque power, that’s how you wear out the tire tread and eventually the ride will lose its traction. Spoken from experience.
Brookings to Agness via the Piss Fir Willie roads through the Kalmiopsis Wilderness area is a nice ride too. Lots of dirt roads that may be a challenge.
Apollo scooters always look awesome and seem to be really great in every way - and then they inevitably get annihilated in the comment section of videos. Lol. Especially when it comes to customer service. But it looks like you’re having fun and there are no negative comments here so far…Lol
So far I haven’t had a bad experience, but yes, they do get demolished in the comments lol. So far Ive had a ton of fun and it’s all been positive…..fingers crossed!
22:34 very nice picture ! And: as a Triumph Tiger 800 XCX 2016 and Tiger 800 2011 rider (I've got those two bikes in different countries), I am really happy to discover your channel and to see that the Tiger 800 is as good a bike for the BDR as another one -- BMW GS, KTM or Yamaha Tenere 700. Thumbs up and keep those BDR videos coming!
If I was going to ride in the rain more, I would do some more water proofing on my end. Lots of videos out there how to do it. I cleaned it was just a little bit of warm soapy water, a bucket and rag. No need to drench it with a hose
You should be ok between Coos Bay and Sutherlin, but between sutherlin and cresent lake is definitely over 100miles. Bring extra fuel. Especially if you have to back track or take a detour. I recommend upgrading your fuel tank.
@@motosnav339 No problem. LOL, only negative feedback. Have your buddy wet his hands before handling trout. They damage so easily. Like you, I don’t leave home without my fly rod. Here is my encounter with cattle on day 1 of the IDBDR. Came up on a cattle drive. They let us pass through. I accidentally filmed it in time laspe. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NXla-_nNMRc.html
@@rickgoforth8308 I’ll definitely let my buddy know. He is quite the experienced fisherman, I believe he just forgot while I was filming. I’ll check out the video!
Fantastic video. It was like I was right there with you guys. I live just a couple of miles from you and have been to many of the same places and campgrounds.
Nice footage👍. I noticed your friend Scott is riding a DR 650. Do you know what kind of aftermarket fairing/windscreen he has installed? Thank you for the responses!
Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed! Scott is a custom fabricator and made this windscreen himself. He bought the material and pressed it into shape. Strong Velcro holds it in place so it can be removed/ installed within seconds! Overall it’s a fantastic design!
Just found this vid great job im in grants pass went from a honda xr650l great bike to a bmw 2006 r1200GS always wanted one love it ended up selling the honda the big GS does everything in need yea its heavy i dont do single track i also pack light way better riding thanks for the adventure
Awesome David! Glad you enjoyed the video. My previous bike was also an xl650. I used a Canon SL3 dlsr camera along with a GoPro hero 8. Packing light is certainly a skill and can make all the difference!
