Welcome to our channel. The focus of this channel is in three unique areas of astrophotography. They are using Olympus cameras, Mac computers and ZWO ASIAIR as a capturing solution.
The main host is Grimstod and he owns a company called Desh Industries. We hope to accomplish much and make the world of astrophotography both easier and more accessible to all. For too long this wonderful and infinite field has been too difficult for the average person to enjoy, but now thanks to technology and falling prices it is becoming much easier.
Hey I have the same scope as you but the signature of the flats have vignette as should but I also get a circle in middle is that just me or does your scope have that aswell
I have an M1 based Macbook. I've downloaded the zip file and extracted the application, however it won't run as I get a security warning, "Apple cannot check it for malicious software". The download link gives a 404 error so I have had to download it from the project page on SourceForge.
I don't buy the "computers not fast enough" argument, especially when the shapes being carved are curves. If the argument was that the software sucks, that I'd believe. One of the oldest techniques in software is buffering, its how we've made CD quality audio playback and video signals work for decades. Sure it might take an FPGA or ASIC to playback the buffered motions, but the process isn't much different than reading or writing to a spinning disc. Heck, you could carve a vinyl record the same way.
You both articulated more information on the hobby, equipment and expectations in 30 minutes than I have heard from watching hours of videos. Adam and I have the same mindset to equipment choices and live in the same area close to intense light pollution in Manhattan. I am now just starting to go to dark sites and enjoying the hobby more. Excellent video and hope to speak to you again at NEAF next year.
Hi, watching this video in 2024. I think your prediction about Sharpstar / Askar aged well. Now they have a whole line of (afaik) very good scopes. BTW, have you tried the tiny Sharpstar 50edph? And yes, I saw the video you mentioned about the raptor and ouch it was brutal (but true to a good extent, I'm afraid...). Anyway, good the telescope have proven being a good one and Sharpstar stood behind its product. All the best.
Hi, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you. I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen. I would also like to share the following seven videos with you about salvation and two videos about evolution: Evolution vs. God ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uc_W9VtzJ0A.html DESTROYING Evolution In Under 3 Minutes ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sWecPwrQv2c.html Watch the Holy Spirit Work in Her Heart (Very Moving) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iBEoI2u6kII.html Fearing The Lord, God’s Discipline & Sharing The Gospel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dES5WW66Mro.html A Clear Gospel Presentation by Pastor Steven Anderson - How to go to Heaven ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IXEeMWCxyrQ.html The Plan of Salvation ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PmkhRMPvt_0.html How to Get Saved ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ajWdkuvrT6s.html The Truth About Hell (Selected Scriptures) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AVzbh_dLq3s.html What is The Gospel of Jesus Christ? Hello from Nice, France. Considering buying an OM1 MkII , I just came back to your excellent videos I made a playlist from a while ago, and I’m very sad about what’s happening to you and your family. May I ask you how you’re doing ?
I've been using this scope exactly as you mentioned in the video. I needed to PA when trying to use my 8" SCT. ASIAIR does not plate solve at 2000mm focal length. Now o used it for both the SCT and my Askar V. 👍
Great video, as usual, I am just about to drop a review on the Askar 40mm FMA180 pro, for a guide and wide field imaging scope, but before I bought I looked at this little scope….so it’s nice to see this review..👍🏻
Can I ask something outside of this topic? Have you tried the seestar s50? Is it worth the small price, for the end results? 🤔 Thinking about getting it, next time I get a bit too much money 😅
Fun fact, Richard used to be at celestron, and the planewave cdk20 started its life as the celestron c20 astrograph. The losmandy G11 also started its life as the celestron G11, by losmandy, before being available with losmandy only branding
Fantastic little guide 'scope. Coincidentally, after my last astro session I decided a new guide 'scope was needed for my new 8" RC 'scope with 1624mm FL, so this guide 'scope looks a great solution, I'll just have to check if it's capable of guiding such a long FL 'scope first. Thanks as always for the great content my friend! Wes, England.
Just bought an askar 103 and am looking for a guide scope next, perfect timing. Thanks for all the great info. It's good to see new videos from you, sir.
