I was there. Not seen the Rats since as Sage Gateshead cancelled after being postponed due to COVID😢 Hoping to catch them again though. They were my favourite band in my teen years. Had Bob poster above my bed❤️

I was 11 when this came out. When I was 48 the band came to Albuquerque where I now live which was bizarre because very few acts ever come to Albuquerque! So when I saw Bazza walking across the bar I asked him for a photo, he obliged and spent the next few hours before their set, and a good chunk of time after, sitting with me and my wife chatting about everything from Bowie to thrift stores and charity shops! This video epitomizes what I saw in Bazza that night in that he genuinely loved what he did and truly adored his fans. I'm not too proud to admit that it still brings a small tear to my eye watching this knowing he's no longer with us to entertain those he loved so much.
