Kudos to Jessica! This is a hard song to perform. I feel like placing the armchairs Ms Honey sits in on the sides doesn't work as well as placing it in the center like the West End / Broadway version, where the actions revolve around a bewildered Ms Honey in the center of the room. With this arrangement, she feels more sidelined and her interactions with the other characters don't feel as fluid. It also makes her being pulled into the action feel more forced (Rudolpho needs to go out of his way to grab her) . I'm curious if this was to adapt to a smaller stage or just because they couldn't get movable armchairs.
