Bullshit they rape the women in lowell .This prison is been under hundreds of federal investigation. This is a huge rape factory for sexual predator. guards to get there jollys. Lowell is a death camp don't believe this fake news.
we all make mistakes in our lives some minor some major. these woman that care for these beautiful horses show they all have a the ability to move on and do good things with there lives. I wish them all success.
Military has trained them in the art of warfare guerilla tactics etc. Yes what better job to have where you have power to abuse, harm kill inmates... yep ...
It was far from easy. There's grooming, pature maintance, fence repair, barn cleaning, feeding, shearing, first aid, farrier work, training, digging, etc...
This is a rarity in Florida prisons, a guy who is qualified. A lot of corrections staff are not completely trained, are physically unfit and are prone to sell contraband inside. There have been repeated cases where prison staff(female) have sex with inmates.
read the 13th amendment, this and all prison labor is just cleaned up slave labor. Are they getting any type of compensation? I can tell you one thing, this program is more than likely how all the contraband is getting into Lowell...and probably a whole lot of guard/staff on inmate sex.
What does the second clause of Section 1 of the Thirteenth Amendment state? "...except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted..."

I do know some from Lowell Corrections who have become rehabilitated and are citizens working with the rest of us here in Marion County. They have used me as a reference and I will come and see how they are doing if it is a public place they now work at.
That's awesome they are doing this program for the adults! Now focus on the Youthful Offenders because they need real change. I understand the Y.O's are sometimes out of control but please don't give up on them. My time at Lowell as a Y.O was terrible. Lowell offered us crap for programs. We sat under a pavilion everyday, sometimes all day. Y.O's need to be more productive with their time.
