I appreciated this a lot. It eased my fears a little. I hope Tomas' little aside about rethinking the "Second Edition" designation happens ... my biggest fear is splitting the playerbase.
Definitely miniatures. Though this is the first theatre of mind game ive played. And am enjoying it thus far. I really hope the book is far more organized. I lost an arm and have a cynbernetic replacement in my current game. Im playing a campaign now. Love it. Cant wait to see what i can do in the new content. Very happy with Alien RPG
Really looking forward to the new Alien edition, and also loved the news of a new M:YZ edition on the horizon! Regarding explanation videos, considering Ellinor's love for the Vaesen rpg, perhaps a video or two talking about that? :) Also, with new Vaesen books coming out, any chance we might see a new season of the wonderful Lost Mountain pod? :) I know it's probably not happening, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask! 😅
You never know! I would love to explore more Lost Mountain projects albeit it takes a lot of time to produce them. Vaesen explanation videos sounds great!
@@EllinorDilorenzo I am happy to hear you haven't given up on it completely. :) The show is/was great, and really showcased the Vaesen rpg in a good way. Yeah, I can imagine it would be time-consuming. Any chance you could do it in collaboration with someone, e.g. Glass Cannon Network or Free League, to get help with that part of the process?
I've been hearing non-stop good stuff about Dragonbane. I wanted to buy it based on the art alone and wanted to back the Kickstarter but was broke at the time. I am finally (almost) ready to buy it since I have a few bucks and decided to check out some videos, including this one. I had an "uh-oh" moment when you mentioned that only a certain number of spells can be held in memory... Like a lot of people, I used to play D&D and one of the things that I disliked most in that game was Vancian magic. I hated it and even though I generally play game as-written, I always had to house-rule magic. But as it was further explained, I guess it's not too bad. I don't mind using Willpower to cast spells and I actually really like the idea of gaining more Willpower at the cost of health.
