I bought one in each caliber. I cleaned and polished all the parts. I had to get burrs off choke tunes. The guns shoot well at skeet. Will be taking them dove hunting soon!!
Hi Jeffrey, are they cast for righthanders? I really like the look of this shotgun but im a lefty. I read in some places that its cast for righties and if thats the case might be tough for me to shoot with. I have a turkish side by side from charles daly and it's great.
Hi Racecar do you still have that gun? Have you taken it out hunting or busted clays? Also would like to know if it is cast for right handers like some folks are saying. Thank you for the vid. i really like the look of these guns.
Truthfully it is a great shotgun! Just give it a good cleaning soon as you take it from the box. It shoots as good or better than my high dollar guns!!
Do you still have that gun? Have you taken it out hunting or busting clays? I read somewhere that they are cast off for right handers. Do you notice that it has that sort of casting, basically, that the stock is a little bent? Thanks, really appreciate the vid. I like the look of these guns.
I own the Affinity 3 and a Benelli M2 , trigger assembly’s are almost identical, barrels are almost identical , I prefer the inertia system on the Affinity, the Benelli has a more durable finish. If I were in the market for a pair of Shotguns being 12 Ga and 20 ga , I’d get the Affinity’s.
Nice video, I am 80 years old and consider my self an expert on browning auto 5s, if you want to know the exact date of your sweet 16, make a new video and put the camera up close on the serial number, I’ll tell you the exact year of manufacture, it’s definitely later model with rear safety, possibly early 50s
I enjoyed the video I really hope to pick one up this year just don’t if should get the 20GA version or the 12GA cause I think I might be recoil sensitive
I'm 6ft and weigh 132 pounds. I can easily shoot the 12ga affinity. I have the 3.5" version and I've shot all the way up to 1 1/2oz no2 shot. Believe me the only thing that you will notice is the push from shot to shot nothing painful or anything. Just see if the gun fits you. If so you're gonna be fine. Also if you have other 12's no need not to go 20ga unless you want the 3.5" model.
I've got my Dad's Sweet 16, and my Grandpa's Remington Model 11. (Which has the Humpback, like the Browning) A lot of people, don't know, what that lever, left side, on the receiver, is for. Load the mag tube, rack 1 in the chamber, flip the lever over, lock the action open, which allows you to unchamber a round, and the rounds in the mag tube, will stay in the Gun. Flip that lever back, it will automatically, throw a round, into the chamber.
Had my Affinity coming up on 7 years now. Great value for money when you take the competition into account I think. Minimal maintenance, reliable and durable enough for all weather. Only downsides are the sea of spent casings, and also not being able to use it for game shooting here in the UK.
Just bought a 12 gu IJ last night, was hoping it was a right decision. Seems like it is now. That gun felt perfect when j picked it up, as well as my son.
