I think voltage generated by the vibration, which is created by air blower not by heat. Because if voltage cteated by heat it must take some time to heat up and heat down.

voltage can not be generated keeping press, have to press n release. but when there will be several discs in parallel n serial, a good useful amount could be generated and use through buck n boost circuit.

It is possible to charge a phone but it's less efficient than a solar panel. Very slow. Usually takes way more effort than practical. The US military tested shoe soles to charge gear. They decided it was not useful. Something about the soles taking energy out of the soldier reducing endurance.
If you press and hold down, its voltage will decrease right? because there's no movements between the 2 plates. The releasing action should also generate voltage as there's movement. At least that's what my piezo is doing :/
