I used a $400 Walmart kayak and Berkley Powerbait pogy 3" swimbaits for same results in Ohio

I know this is kinda late but these fish are so fun to catch. Caught a 7 and an 8lber yesterday, aswell as 4 more within the 2-5lb class. Incredible fighters

I live only 30 minutes from Patoka and yet haven’t fished for hybrids and stripers there yet. I fished professionally for them all across the southeast and make all my own tackle. I plan to get out in my kayak this fall for them. Is there any stripers in the lake?
