So I have a bmw 325i 2004 , and I’m trying to put in the aux on the back of the radio and I tried to test it. There’s only two options, cd and the regular radio and the aux option wont come up. Idk wat to do!! Do I have to actually program the aux to the radio?
Your version of the radio doesn't support AUX input and this won't work. The only way to make it work is to solder the AUX cable wires on the board to the CD player outputs. Find the L and R channels and ground, solder the AUX wires to it, burn a silent audio CD and play it and at the same time play music from whatever device you got hooked to the AUX cable. This way you trick the radio into playing the sound from the AUX cable via the CD player wiring. I might make a tutorial for the SIEMENS Business CD radio in a couple of days.
First try to flip the cable as sometimes it does come come upside down from the factory. If that do not work then you will have to code it but it should work as your radio is one of the ones that are just plug and play. Please keep me update it when you try it.
AUX Appears automatically when I connect the cable but I am missing the option to adjust AUX INPUT VOLUME, I have pressed the music note and radio radio preset buttons 1-6 while on AUX mode and still no change in volume, it’s really quiet and no bass compared to Radio and CD, any ideas?
Hello! I don't know if you're still responding to comments on this video but i have a quick question. Do I have to code in a CD changer in my car if my car didn't come with pre wiring for the cd changer? I'm guessing I can code in a CD changer similarily to the AUX coding.
The size of the bolt are 10mm head and the length is half of your pinky finger. the OE Number are 07119905532, 07119902930, 07119901137, 07119903586 any would work for you. Hope this helps you out.
2060..2079: Codierfehler 2060 = coding faulty (general) 2061 = error during writing coding data 2062 = error during reading coding data 2063 = error verifying coding data 2064 = error erasing coding data (e.g. ZCS) 2065 = ecu checksum error Hi as you can see in the error list the error you got is a coding error so try again and double check your procedure ie. correct profile[fsw/psw.man enabled] cappl trace file renamed after mods to .man perfect spelling in the trace files you rename etc.etc. hope this helps, also make sure that you have the correct cable as shown in the video and in description.
see the link where you can get it from and also, i have added to the description on the video. enjoy drive.google.com/file/d/1BdArnxKeB1QGP4OX6BOKEupoZErwPmI6/view?usp=sharing
Hi Osvaldo, I have tried to follow your instructions and saw all kinds of modules but not the RAD. How do I get this specific one, to change my AUX into Active? My car is from 11-2001 and the radio is has a production date of 06-01. Thanks in advance! Rich
Did you make sure to have the correct cable with the switch as mentioned and shown in the video? Normally when you follow the instructions with the right cable you should see it but if you have the right cable and it is still not showing for you please let me know. I will do my best to explain you what to do next. Hopefully you haven’t missed no step. Thank you for reaching out.
As long as you program the radio before or if the option is on then it will work in your car but if the radio from the other car is not program or does not have the option turn on then it won’t work as you won’t be able to program it with your car. Hope this helps.
@@osvaldogil7798 bro, I have Alpine CD PLAYER BUSSINES CD53 from 5/2002 i buy a cable with some box (Transformators or something like that, specifications for that cable is working from year 2003 +) and it plug in aux side & I try but MODE nothing only CD Radio not showing AUX on display. Now to go to service with BMW diagnostic and to show them your way of coding? My car is from 2004 but Radio is from May 2002. Thank you very much for helping!!!
@@dejanfilipovic6369 if your car is an 04 and the radio is a 02 and the option on the way i showing it on the video is not there then it wont work. i try a radio from 2002 on my 2004 and it did not work. it has to be the original radio. once you do it on the original car with it radio you can put the radio in your car. hope this clear it for you. if anything reach out and i would try my best to inform you and help you more.
@@osvaldogil7798 Now is everything clear, I understand. Because the radio unit from 02 don't have a software for AUX i find somewhere SV must be 43+ mine is May 02 & software version 41. It took this AUX problem about one month, new Alpine unit 2 cables and nothing. Now I buy a good FM transmiter and that's it till I find unit 03+. Thank you for your time to help me, be good and safe!
