If you say you’re a mason, and claim to be a mason, and are doing good and positive things - what business is that to any other mason except they can’t get your dues!? Keep doing what you doing. It’s time to build walls not fences! SMH
LaTroye Irvin what makes a mason? A piece of paper? Or is it the ritual and the understanding that comes from it and how it not only applies to that mason and his heart but in everyday life to better himself and those around him? PHA quick to judge and throw stones but never quick to listen or understand. These fraternal organizations are not going anywhere so why not find a common ground and make some type of agreement? Even if both ends agree to disagree but the attacks and disrespect must stop on both sides. We are men! First... but who am I to say.....
Mr. John Ancient, what makes a person a Mason. By being I, P'd, & R'd in a legally and Constituted Lodge of Masons given a Masonic Charter to operate as such.
LaTroye Irvin but instead of bashing why not take that energy and sitting down with GM's from each organization to create some type of agreement? I get the whole lineage thing etc. but most of these organizations been operating for well over 100 years plus... and they continue to grow and I'm not saying some of these organizations are not flat out wrong but I'm saying for those lodges and grand lodges out there that are doing the work and operating properly why not create so type of platform for discussion? And I'm not saying PHA masons half to sit in a lodge with them but some type of action should be taken to bring them into the fold.....
Mr. John Ancient, there have been actions against these pop up bodies. But what the creator would do is either change the name or just move around. If people know the difference and research I guarantee that they wouldn't join a organization built off lies.
LaTroye Irvin I disagree I know a few people who did not join a PHA lodge do to their personal experiences with the members and went the JGJ route fully understanding the history of it and they enjoy it. And if it's that big of an issue why not take them to court?... I mean they fake PHA will surely win correct? 🤔
IFAMM is not a legitimate body. Even though the men showed respect to their ex-employee they still didn't correctly do the Lodge of Sorrow the correct way. Mimicking at its finest. smh.
Everett White let me make this very clear so that you can understand, each Jurisdiction is Sovereign to herself. The only two legitimate bodies of Masonry are PHA & GL of State. These pop up bodies only going by what they're reading or by going by what they saw at a funeral services by legitimate Masons.
