Living in Brittany, about a 2-hour drive from the Puy du Fou, I was able to go there last week and stay in the hotel "Le Grand Siècle". For me, this is the best park in the world !

This little bedroom is adorable, painting the walls was exactly what it needed. I would paint the shelves and the door, it would make it look more French
Yeah, they are a little too orange for me as well. I couldn’t decide if I like the contrast of the white & stained. I think the only thing I don’t like is that the stain looks too orange like you said.
Love the guest bedroom. Love the bookshelves as is and making a closet on the other end is prefect. Paint the door for sure and add the transfer. The bed if I painted it I would not do white something like light sage green Chandelier is beautiful prefect for the room. Thanks for sharing.
Can I ask does that bed take a regular twin mattress ? Or did you get the bed with the mattress already ? Ps leave the bed don’t paint it. Love the look of it the way it is :)
I forgot to mention that in my video. It takes a regular size twin mattress. It didn’t come with the bed. I only bought the antique French day bed without the mattress on FB Marketplace. I also put a 4 inch memory foam topper on top of the twin mattress, because of the side rails on the daybed. Thank you!😊
I love this room. The contrast of the ceiling to the walls are gorgeous. That bed!! ❤❤❤ For me .. if I live with a room for a bit it will speak to me. Maybe look at pictures of a french armoire. That might give you some ideas for the shelves. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. ❤❤
I would not paint the bed, but would paint the bookshelves. Maybe consider a very pale sage green instead of white. A very light sage green goes with your other pastels blue, pink, cream and yellow.
I think I would paint ceiling, shelves and door. Definately put the transfer on the door and maybe embellish it more. A clothes rack for guests would be very nice.
I like the doors painted and the transfers, perhaps some trims like molding too? The room is lovely and I agree to make a space for guests to hang clothes, very sensible. A beautiful room makeover with a lot of charm. Any guest would love to stay with you in this gorgeous guest room. xx
