I've been looking at these for quite some time. I may have to "dive in". Looks like a lot of fun. Thank you. Could you tell me what is the surface that you are working on? Also, what is the best paper for these crayons? I paint watercolor on rough/cold press but I also have hot press.
Wow fabulous! I love the idea of using the elements to make beautiful pages and fabrics. I think they all turned out great and can be used. Thank you for this inspiring experiment! Hugs ❤️🤗
This video is so fun! I love the way you film it, so we could see each result. I can't wait for it to rain! Yes, I know I can use the kitchen sprayer, but I don't think that would be the same. I LOVE THIS!!! tyfs
reminds me of a large painting I left out in all weathers for a few months. I was trying to create a peeling paint effect. I applied many layers in different mediums starting with bright green then lots of reds on top. the result was really good with different layers revealing all kinds of loveliness. xxx
Great idea, Marly! Can you tell us what type of papers you used? You mentioned watercolor, but some of them looked too flimsy to be watercolor. Can you share the paper weight? Thanks in advance!
Simply amazing. I am late to the party, but I just watched the 2024 Idea-ology video, and as soon as I saw this, I has to search for more about your book. Incredible! And all the moving parts are incredibly satisfying. How do we do this? Hope there are tutorials!
Thank you for testing! I don’t see much for me, a non-grungy creator, in your makes except for the “bookmark. I would love to see all of the colors swatched out in a similar way to that so that we can see the real base colors. I do love the shimmer and I think that there is always a place for shine and shimmer in my works! It does seem that you may need to use a lot of the spray to get the solid colors that I would dream about???
A lot of swatches have been made by the other makers. You can also check Tim's replay on the distress spritz. Very informative 🙌 The amount of spritz you Will need to get full coverage depends on choice of paper and the result that you wish for. Only way to find out is try ❤️
This is fabulous! Thank you for testing and playing around with these new products. I love your videos like this because they are so useful and inspiring! Hugs 🤗❤️
