@@happychappers8311 the XF SB is one of the most beautiful estates on the market but I hate Jaguar seats. I’ve had an XF and the XJ6 I just sold had seats that had me in pain within 40 minutes. The Volvo and Z4 seats are far superior in my opinion.
I would go for BMW but then again I am a BMW fan, but be careful with the N53 engine. I have the same engine in 25i version, and it requires quite bit of maintenance. The N52 has a better reputation for sure
Good to meet you today and see your car " in the flesh " and for posting this video . Really enjoyed a nice relaxed meet with other like minded people . 👍
90% does you an injustice, they are a vast improvement 👍 on jobs like that I always freak at the point they look bad before they look better as they invariably don’t 😁
I remember playing pool with a guy in the 80s who had no arms and just two hands at his shoulders due to thalidomide but he was actually not bad, anyway I digress, I've a 4.2 X356 and at 5'10 I can just reach the middle of the roof fine. Do you have freakishly short arms for someone at 6'2?
Dude that car is absolutely gorgeous. Been a Jaguar fan all my driving life and had 2 xj6's and a sovereign and thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving them. Currently running a 220 Mercedes e class estate which is phenomenal on fuel but no where near as comfortable or classy as the jaguar.
@@user-cf4zz1yf2ryou see that's the problem. I've had 2 Volvo"s. An S 60 and a XC70 and both were exceptionally comfortable. The Jaguar's were much more aesthetically pleasing. I think I'd put up with a stiff back every now and then just to have a massive smile on my face every time I went for a drive.
Hi dude……. I think you will find that leather is a by product of the meat industry…… Meat is found in restaurants, McDonalds, definitely at my place and possibly at your place!!! In fact King Henry viii was so impressed with meat he knighted it…. Sirloin!!!! True story!!!! So cows ain’t dying to make seat covers….. they’re get killed to feed humans!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 Regards Ian 👨🎤🇳🇿👍😂🍸🍸
Currently running a x358 Daimler Super Eight (2008) 12k miles in last two years. Epic cars they deserve care and attention. Best bit it scares BMW cheeky tail gaters 😮
As and when mate 🫡 I’m with you on the underside, I spend most of my time fettling under both my Z4 coupe and m’old Landy Freelander 2, wire brushing and spraying ACF50 everywhere 😂 Had the Landy over to South West Rustproofing last year for the full dinitrol treatment - expensive but excellent 👍
I got them from eBay. Spent ages looking at different styles before deciding on these. I nearly bought some with a silly ET on the rears which would have been too extreme.
@@user-cf4zz1yf2r I've been in the same endless ebay trawl, wheel fitment calculators to see if I can get away with what I've found. Is there any chance it was recent and you could share the listing? Thanks, Greg
@@user-cf4zz1yf2r The video description says et 40 on the front and ET 35 on the rear, I can only find sellers with the offset the other way round? Can I check that the 40 from 35 rear is right? Thank you
I’ll have to catch up with your videos. I’ve just recently put a set of 19” CSL Genuine fakes on my Coupe. 😍 ( I take it you’ll be trying some Gloss black Grills soon, once repainted of course😉)
Might try a clay bar towel. Clay on one side easy to hold in your hand towel on the other. Much less chance of dropping. Use same one over and over after bucket rinse. Use mine on old cars and brand new ones. Work just as well as clay lump. Thanks for viddy!
Old socks rock, although it always feels weird to clean socks that are no longer fit for purpose, but I’m all about repurposing items, and socks work so well! Thanks for the comment.
Had my Ruby Black 2007 Z4 coupe for years now and love it. I’ve also been cleaning and polishing my cars the same way you do, TBH there’s a load of horse about different techniques but I’m happy with the results 😁
I’d never profess to being a detailer, I just use simple equipment that gives me results I’m happy with. The car looked stunning in the sunshine afterwards!
Enjoying your content, that's something I need to do myself, Clay bar my own Z4, I bought mine last year, I now have it mechanically sound, spent a small fortune, but don't tell the Mr's, and next year I intend to get it professionally painted, keep your content coming loving it
The oil leak will be the oil filter housing or the rocker cover gasket. As your car is a 2006 with a silver cover you need a fibre gasket, not a rubber one, ask me how I know?
