Thanks for your kind words, the worst thing is that all your muscle memory becomes your enemy because your fingers just don't land where they should. Even when you think you've re-learned, you find the disease has progressed setting you back further. But that all said, it brings such joy when a tune comes together it makes the struggle worth it. Whatever you do, don't give up, try to work through those painful days, it really is worth it.
I'm glad they are doin somthing............I'm very confused about weather I like it or not?...remaking stranded in the jungle was a mistake since it was a cover anyway.....some of the album is good though
the most underrated band of the past 50 years. Never tire of watching the OGWT performance... but better still is their appearance on Later with Joolz doing 'Trash'. Just sheer class....
This is David Johanson and Sylvain Sylvain and a few guys. This is a pretty good tune, but Steve Conte doesn't have the warped, ancient, TV Special or sneer to even come close to what's his name...ermmm...the founder of the Dolls...that guy...what was his name again? Fuckers didn't even mention him in their interview.
+Spike Michaels Johnny Thunders. They knew they weren't going to get even a fraction of a Thunders-like guitarist, so they asked for a reliable and skilled one and they all pointed out to Steve. Pretty good job he did on their first and second release since the 70s IMO.
He is speaking about Johnny Thunders who died soooooooooooooooo tragically & sooooooooooooo young many years ago...I think Johansson is just as big of a part too, this is great!
I remember when the dolls first came to England they didn't go down well atall with their platform boots and silly prancicing about,It wasn't until later that thy were appreciated . I think the Ramones made them more acceptable Love and Peace Y'all
no 73-4..they broke up and Thunders went his way cut his hair got into his suit look and the others theires THE HEARTBREAKERS with Johnny Thunders with Billy Rath after they got rid of Richard Hell and bought in Billy Rath ruled NY best dam band!
