had this happen to me except my wild magic sorcerer twinspelled haste, shitting out two fireballs right on top of the entire party, 2 people lived. 1 with 4 HP and another with 3 HP, I genuinely think my paladins god, lathander, was smiling down on me that day

His mace works wonders in situations like that btw. Not only it will resurrect the holder - it will also do the thing like "mass word of healing", and possibly raise your teammates too

Once my buddies and I were playing pathfinder 1e (basically D&D 3.75) and both me and the druid ran wild mages. Both of us got wild magic surges in the same encounter. I set the building on fire with a fireball centered on self. Mission failed successfully.
