Great, great collab album. It is not as strong as the first, but the production is better. V-Don gave one of the best beats. And Ransom killed every track; Conway did his thing, not the best. Good review ✌️😎
NOPE hated it lol But nah album was a letdown 4 me. I wanted it 2 b fire but it wasnt. It was not LL's fault. He sounded fresh n not washed imo. Da problem is Q Tip. Da beats were 2 noisy n L's vocals were low on alot of songs. Album was very mid a lite 3 mics lol Fav song was Black Code Suite. I think L shooda went wit a variety of producers n I also wasnt feelin Tip's random trash singin he was doin on da album lol But i do still think L got sum gas in da tank n shood drop anotha album
A lot of tracks had me nodding my head like a mofo. Wasn't a perfect album, but it's damn sure better than the bulk of albums dropped this year. LL and Q-Tip delivered ✊🏽

Stove is definitely in his own lane. Just seems strange his output is minimal. Unique talent just needs more output before I can give a fair assessment.
Album is pretty good but I feel like the sounds on the production were too loud on some of the songs, it was getting in the way of LL vocals…..they were weird sounds at that
Yes! But, unfortunately my expectations of today's music are so low that meeting them doesn't mean much. That said, if we were still buying CD's from Tower Records, I would have bought it just on the strength.
This LL album is dope as heck- but career wise terms of albums- he has quite a few missteps. He doesn't have any terrible albums- but there are a few mid joints. I would say Authentic is his worst attempt and that not even that to be honest. When you are the GOAT- you have to put out GOAT material. Even his album GOAT was pretty mid lol. For me this new album is up there with the classics he was dropping early in his career.
The album, lyrically, is fire!!! I dare to say in 2024 LL Cool J never sounded better. His storytelling, which has always been underrated, stood out. Some of the beats took a couple of tries to finally get into. I was hoping he'd finally have 2 - 3 tracks with Premier up here. So if there was a setback I'd say some of the beats. Still got love for Tip though. The collabos...LL held his own. Murdergram part deax LL showed he can deliver when put to the test. I felt "Priase Him" was too short. I wished for a better beat and longer song for those 2 great emcees. Overall LL showed he can still bring the heat. SALUTE TO THE GOAT!
Dope album.Production is new and freshing,its nothing like it in hip-hop right now and LL Cool J is rapping that rap and Nas prolly had the best verse of all his latest albums.
This album had like 2 or 3 good songs on it, Most of the tracks are just average. I'm Bad, Mamma Said Knock You Out is what we need. He should have linked up with Marley Marl instead of Q-Tip, I dont think his production style meets LL's vibe. Sadly Disappointed!!
I have been rockin with LL since the beginning of his career. If I had to rate the album I would give it a 7 out 10. And the reason is that the overall vibe of the album is for fans who live up north. I am from down south so I prefer the Dr. Dre type beats. The lyrics were great as well as the collaborations with Eminem , Rick Ross, etc, but it was the beats is why I give it a 7 out of 10. Do you agree or disagree? My favorite track is Saturday Night featuring Rick Ross and Fat Joe. Now that track was the gangsta. Thats how I like it.
Dope beats. A couple had an old El-p vibe to them. The one with Busta Rhymes sampled CAN from the 70s and that beat is dope. I'm not a fan.of snoop personally but that beat with him and snoop's track was I'll.
The album is better than every LL album from bs DEfinition to his last. But this bs cant f&*&& with 10, which came out 22 years ago. The Force is dated af. It would make a great follow up to 10. Thats about it. This is 2024. If I want to hear early 2000s s8&&, Ill listen to it. I want to hear LL over modern type of music or something new. Not this Q Tip early 2000s bs
This album is great IMO! It took a few listens for me, but some of the songs that I didn’t like at first, now I can’t stop listening to! The production is crazy and LL delivered big time with the bars! The only thing I don’t like about the album is its cover! LOL. 4.5 out of 5 for me.
This was a super nice return to form for LL. Tip did his thing for the most part providing a newer sounding album that still soinds like classic qtip somehow (just a couple tracks fell a little flat for me on the production side) features were all decent and LL sounded pretty sharp and hungry throughout. With all they hype leading up to this, it honestly exceeded my admittedly low expectations. There are at least a half dozen or more tracks i know ill come back to and only maybe 1-2 skips here. Overall I give it a strong 3.5mics
F-it Imma say it! This is the best Hip Hop album of 2024. If you are older than 50. This is dann near perfection. Who cares what anyone under 48 thinks. No offense. But i dont tell my older uncles what a dope Miles Davis album is. I just... Shut up and listen
I’m 54 years old.. so I’ve grown up with the rise of Hip Hop LL, has always been in my top 5 of all time… but I very very disappointed in this Album!!!! I think it’s Trash!!! Only 1 track I like is Black Code Suite Now what Common & Pete Rock did was a MASTERPIECE!!! LL should have stuck with Dre!!!

You would have mentioned THAT if he was on YOUR top 5 even if you didn't like the music. Common and Pete are vets in the game too and they are doing their thing, okay? You sir, smh...
@@misslucky5474 Yes.. LL still in my Top 5!!! I never criticized his Lyrical flow!! His Lyrical flow will remain superb, as it’s been for over 40 years!!! I know Good Hip Hop when I hear it.. & LL & Q-tip is NOT a good mix!!! In my opinion It’s TRASH!!!
