I'm an Aussie chick who rides a 2016 Vulcan S 650. I upload videos about anything motorbike related - motocamping, motorbike modifications, riding comparisons, motorbike discussion topics, motorbike challenges and more. My house mate rides a 2019 Rebel 500 so expect to see a few videos about the Honda too. There aren't too many Australian female motorbike riders who have a channel about road bikes... so if that's you... drop your channel in the comments somewhere! I also have an Instagram account where I post plenty of photos - yes... of the bike. You can find me @the_vs_chick

This is an awesome demo.. I still wish I could just pay you to do this for me.. 😂😂. I just don’t have the patience. Really want to do this to my bike tho!!
Quite right, Honda really loused up pretending the Rebel was a cruiser but what genuine cruiser dose not have feet forward! Therefore, my Vulcan turns up Friday, everything crossed! The USA is getting a new Shadow cruiser from Honda which is feet forward, now if that came to the UK....................???
I’d love to know how tall you are pls, I’m 163cm and been eyeing off the vulcan for a while, as a first timer, but if it’s going to be too big for me the rebel is my next pick!
Really good vid, we have basically the same restriction laws over here in the UK, This was really useful to find a bike that I could ride on my A2(restricted 35kw).
Your videos are always helpful. Is there anyway that you could tell me which way the two fuel lines on the left side of the tank get connected? I think one is a fuel return and a vent maybe? My tank is marked with a blue dot but neither hose is marked. One of the hoses runs down through the bike and out by the kickstand, should it be connected to the port on the tank with the blue dot or the other port? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping I could see it in some of your other videos but you didn't go that far
What a cool video ! Some of these mods really are freaking awesome. That Hoglight is oh so pretty, and that tail tidy is something I will likely steal from your list !
I’d say step 1 check q ride qualified status through ur TMR Qld account then you will know if you can book ur QRide top rider whatever as I booked course first but moved interstate 6 months prior and it’s been a headache to confirm it but finally going on the weekend
@TheVSChick fitted a batwing fairing to front of my Vully she looks lot bigger from the front now. Next I'm thinking of adding a leather bagster to her
Awsome! Just question, with low light does it iluminates well at night? (Is only the ring led and the 3 little lines) Or you should go with the high light? (Because it may bother other drivers) Thank u!
I use it the same as I would the high beams in a car. On coming traffic I turn them off because its super super bright. You wouldn't really want to be cruising around with them on all the time. The low light is sufficient. The ring LED is on all the time, the 3 lines are the high beams.
Oh that's awesome! You will have an absolute blast! I'd recommend packing wet weather gear. The weather is super unpredictable and they'll help when its cold too. How long are you going for? Camping?
It's a great tool i have it but you should have waited at least 24 hours for the rubber thing to fully cure as the instructions suggested before you went out on your ride..😅
Definetly the seat. I can´t give the Vulcan S much hate on anything really. It looks good (but that´s subjective so w/e), it runs amazing, it´s easy to repair on ur own and perform service.. but the damn seat. I´m a 210 lbs 6,2 rider and my butt is numb after just 1 hr in the sadle.
Beginner rider here. My Brother (seasonal rider) said to stay away from the middle as it collects all the looses gravel and oils from cars. You should swap between the right and left (car wheel tracks) depending on the hazards.
Yeah that's right. Riding position changes constantly depending on so many things. As long as you are actively scanning and thinking about where is the best place to be on the road so people can see you and you can anticipated people/hazards... you're on the right track. Too many idiots out there to just casually follow the car in front.
Do you know if I can install a quad lock hard wired wireless charger into the wires behind the tacometer? That way I can skip the dc outlet all together?
Nice work... exxy for a small piece but you saved doing it yourself! Zapped twice?! Went back for seconds! 😅 I tested a self installed electric fence that was meant for a farm (set it on a town block) - threw me about 10 feet 😅
Yeah it was waaayyy cheaper if I had of bought a knock off version... but I kinda like the green box it game in.. so I went with the genuine part ;-) Also... yikes!!! Did you do it twice?? Haha
Good to see you working on what you ride. It is not only good to do your own work and learn but also to put that fault knowledge in the memory bank. Best play on the outside of said Playstation from now on😂
I've got quite a few things added to that memory bank now. And yeeepp! ⚡️⚡️⚡️I had friends who were super savvy with computer repairs and thought I'd be able to absorb their knowledge by watching. Turns out... I had nooo idea what I was doing haha!
