I wouldn't say Inzaghi was slow. He was quick over the first few yards in a race to the ball. He was kind of an earlier version of Thomas Muller but in a more central position.
This guy dumped most of his stats into Intelligence and finishing. Barely enough into technique and speed. A sprinkle into aerial ability and strength.
If the VAR are in use on Inzaghi era , Inzaghi will have more goals than officially ruled out. The reputation dont help him much lineman's just assumed his offside
I mean.. müller doesn't have any flashy skills to outplay enemy players but he definitely has great sense/ passes. You can't achieve that with IQ alone. He is obviously also great in terms of control as you can see by hiss passes.
6:10 Müller: Smart Messi: Even smarter... Germany beat his Argentina, but Messi took care, that Müller misses the next game, that´s even more critical... But if you are as intelligent as Müller, you never get old, just bored, with time...
I think it's impossible to play at the highest level of professional football if you don't breathe football 24/7. I wonder if it's even possible if you start playing the game at let's say 10yo.
People keep saying Muller doesn't have pace or skills but actually, he's a very rounded player. Besides his incredible vision, he has a decent pace, great touch, great pass, and great finishing skills.
He don’t need to be flashy like Neymar. He don’t have to have dribbling like Messi or Physical condition like CR7. He just 100% of Pure German Efficiency. True Professional. No conflicts. Real Role Model for younger players. Legend for Bayern. Legend for Germany.
Usain Bolt doesn't need football to be considered a legend in sports. He is bigger than any English Football Player there is. There are only few footballers that can claim to have a similar pedigree in sports like Usain Bolt.
I think partly his head wasn't exsactly in it, which means think he was just kind of done, after the, incredible accomplishments he achieved in running, and to be fair he was already in his 30s.
