Thanku so muchh, this helps me a lot to understand about VIV check. I am just wondering how to predict bending stress due to in-line VIV induced.

Mr. Nikhil Banda, That was very insightful. Your studies and experience in underwater acoustics speak volumes. I'm sure your answers would certainly help many aspirants in this field. I wish the conference a great success and hope it brings out many solutions to the world problems.

Great job Dr., In addition to using electric engines, I believe including drone operations into regulatory standards (similar to aircraft) would also be a good measure to curb noise or other environmental menace

Enrolled. Cannot wait until this September 2021 to get started. Should be the right time for a such specialized distance learning diploma.

I worked a ship once that had a Roots blower mounted on the sewage plant tank, that ! was a loud M F-er , i baffled out and dampened with material the inlet housing , but it was small gains as i modded that housing , 4 or 5 times, did manage to make it tolerable. That fan (if you can call it that) had been assaulting peoples ears for decades ! if not for me nothing would have changed, people are amazing adapters ... not always to their benefit ?

Yup talk about plant supervisors just wanting you to adapt, its total BS ! ... The plant where i worked had a exhaust fan that just howled all day long, i knew it needed bearings a rebalance AND a cleaning, boss would have no part of repairing it, so everyday for a week i tightened up the drive belts till they were like guitar strings and then i just waited, Didn't take long and the bearings blew, so the fan got overhauled and it was like night and day change in sound level ! My boss pretended it was no big deal , what a D-bag , that fan was like that for over a year, i have no respect for people who think their co-workers health (hearing & stress) is expensable !
