We would go bright and early to Peltier Rd. In the morning darkness you woukd hear them waking up. That sound is unmistakable. One morning we saw something so glorious, cranes flying in by the hundreds filling the sky. If that doesn’t humble you, nothing will.
Love this place. Living near of Bruceville and Laguna Blvd. I’d drive out there often. Loved tte hummingbird feeders at the visitors center. You never knew exactly what birds would be out by the boardwalk. These are great photos….
Nice video. I've been to the Cosumnes River Preserve several times but haven't spent enough time there to come back with many good shots. Your small bird shots are impressive.
Looks like Stahlfolder T52.6/52.6 with flat-pile feeder plus STA36/40 miniature products delivery system. I think this machine has been specified for miniature and some pharmaceutical folding. This model is built under licence in the USA at the former Baum factory in Dayton, Ohio? The giveaway is that the machine is in production without noise suppression hoods over the buckle plates. The German built folders are ex-works all fitted with noise hoods as standard to conform with CE regulations.
