My question is how are we free citizens if everything is controlled by city, state and federal governments. Right to travel ? Doesnt seem like it. Laws dictate every route you try to take when you attempt to be free citizen.
MADD exists to make money. People being arrested for DUI is how MADD makes its money. The more people arrested the more who have to pay MADD for taking the victim impact panel. MADD doesn't care if the people arrested are innocent because more arrests means more money. There is no reason to charge people $65 to watch an online video. MADD is greedy.
I have plans where I’ll be away for a month. What can I do about this when it comes to monthly data uploads and payment. Is it on a certain day or just next month? Is it every month no matter what or a certain day basically? If i probably can’t miss is there a work around? Or just not go on vacation or business trips for a year??
Those are good questions. But the answers depend on your specific circumstances. You should ask your attorney. Usually there are ways to problem solve the issues you brought up...
There are multiple ways to be "intoxicated" under Texas law. Just being under the limit does not automatically result in the charge being dismissed. Your case will still go through the normal stages of the process.

My situation is pretty confusing. I’m in San Antonio and need to get a lawyer that won’t charge me and a leg. Someone that’s going to charge me a few hundred dollars for drivers license suspension I hope . Maybe I’ll call DPS in Austin and try to sort it out. On DPS website it said I’m ineligible to drive since 1-25-23 to 12-31- 9999 ?! That’s not a typo of the year 9999 . Sheesh . even though my license was good in April a few months later SMH . Back in April last year I checked on their site and even went to drivers license office and they also told me I was eligible to drive . I guess they retroactively suspended it since January of last year?! Anyway there’s two separate enforcement actions on DPS site. One is the already suspension that I’ve mentioned . The other is pending in April next month. They’ll suspend license for three months. From 4-12-24 to 7-12-24 ??! It’s very confusing to me
If you are employed and your job requires regular out-of-state travel (e.g., flying to another state for a week every month) then depending on the county they might require a portable blower. Some counties only make you blow when attempting to start your car while others require 7 days a week, regardless. I did see in Collin County the portable blower changed from 4X's per day to 3X's per day (morning and twice in the evening) so by taking out the 12 pm -2 pm blow window it is more attractive than the past.
Wish they had a law that would provide one for the caregivers qho really need it like parents of austic children and elderly caregivers, would save alot of lives❤
If you don't install the IID then you will be required to either get the hand device or SCRAM monitor. Usually, your license will be suspended for a year and the IID must stay on 50% of your probation time. The best outcome is for the ADA and your attorney to agree on a shorter probation length in the plea.
When do you find out if you passed or failed the PTIP program? This is my last month.. I had an “oppsy” earlier this week blew a fail (in home unit) and I check in a couple weeks..with the agent.. last day of PTIP is march 31st but I haven’t heard anything.. from him or my lawyer. i am on a year program

Good video. I would say accurate as well. I’ve got one on for 23 days. I don’t want to complain but mine is on very tight. Much tighter than yours was. I can barely slide it. I think they made it very uncomfortable in purpose. The corners on the inside of mine are always hurting. But like you said not anywhere near as bad as jail
I got a DWI last year September 11th. I paid a lawyer 1,800$. It’s been over a year and I still haven’t gotten my blood test results back, I didn’t blow in the breath test I did blood test. It’s been a year and 3 months. What should I do just keep waiting? I feel like I paid my lawyer for nothing.
I’ve had a hearing they denied me guarantee no matter how long it is you better have AAA and be able to prove you go to at least one meeting a week or you’re done

The best option is to avoid getting a DWI initially. There are so many options for transportation in the modern world. Just be safe and protect yourself and others, if any alcohol at all passes your lips, just don't drive. Simple. $20? Or a life behind bars filled with guilt and regret?
