I love powersports, vehicles and machines and either riding them or working to make them better! I love to learn about new products and provide quick reviews on them also. Enjoy All!
@@Tom-ic7hw The 175 hpdi rips! This boat is a blast! I am not comfortable when this thing is trimmed up going across the lake, but next time im out i gotta get a speed on it.
Holy fuck that's clean. Beyond the B&P that bodywork deserves props. I'd love to see in person but I've worked at a place where a job like that would come out looking like a golfball. The Newbie grabs a 3" DA with 80g kinda thing. Good work man.
I’d recommend going with the ultrex. Not only would you get the transducer it has with it but they also have spot lock which is a big deal and a game changer.
One small tip- when you unroll your carpet take a sharpie or a China marker and draw arrows every foot in the same direction on 12 inch centers all over the entire carpet. Make sure the carpet is all going the same direction when you carpet the deck and hatches, this ensures the pile is all going the same direction and keeps the carpet uniform. Otherwise you will see lighter sections due to pile going in all different directions.
Ditch the crap carpet glue and use contact cement no clamps required. You can litterly carpet a whole boat in 2 days from start to finish. I've done this several times with my dad and uncle on their various bass boats over the years.
Dude I just realized that you talk alot in ur videos. You don't do alot of showing us how to do the work and ateast trying to give us some type of know how
Oh and tip for ya I really hope u have the carpet going in the same direction for all them panels. Because if not some will look lighter and darker than others once u get them all in u will def notice the difference if u hadn't 😂😂😂. And I just watched the end of the video and it looks like u did get a few of them lids the wrong direction because u can see that some of them look lighter than others and that would be because the carpet wasn't installed all in the same direction. Not really a big issue but def would drive me crazy because I'm Ocd like that.
New subscriber here. Keep up the great content and much love to ya from Maryland❤❤❤. I know exactly what u mean about doing this type of work urself. I just redid my flooring and stuff in my 14ft Jon boat. It's def more complicated then it looks from other youtubers 😂😂😂. Anyways keep up the hard work and dedication towards the channel.
Nice job. Where did you get the carpet trim and how did you install it? Also, did Ranger supply you with pre-cut carpet for the bottom piece around the foot pedal floor and did it fit ok?
Carpet was ordered from Ranger. They sent bulk carpet for the deck lids and front and rear platform. Ranger had the option for the pre-cut footwell carpet and then I just glued that down. I got the carpet trim from BassBoatSeats.com.
@@impulserecreationbuyer Tx! You will probably have to replace the carpet on the bunks of trailer. You will have a better idea once you launch the boat. It is an easy fix and make sure you inspect the boards and use stainless steel staples to fasten the carpet if it needs replacing.
I encourage you to change the title of the video. I clicked on it to find out what the best fish finder is. Wasted some of my life watching the whole thing.
My 2005 185VS came with a Garmin Fishfinder 240. And, yeah, they don't make them any more. She's looking great! you have done an awesome job restoring her! Still can't believe you're going to sell her!
