The bird is a Griffin/Gryphon which is the name of Shanks' sword. Divine Departure is one of Gol D. Roger's moves. Shanks also used observation Haki to see the future at the beginning. His future sight is better than Katakuri's. Kid got what was coming to him. Shouldn't have picked a fight with a member of the Yonko. Kid was attacking the island as his beam weapon would have hit the village on the island after attacking Shanks' fleet. Again he got what was coming to him. Shanks was hurrying on those boats to save his fleet but also the village behind him.
To be fair, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy than Kid. His introduction in Sabaody was that he got his high bounty for unusually high numbers of civilian casualties even among pirates. Also, that wasn't a phoenix, it was a gryphon. Shank's sword is named "Gryphon" and that was him manifesting the image of one through the sheer power of his armament and conqueror's haki.
I mean, Kids crew as well. They're fine killing civilians and being all ego. As soon as it doesn't go their way they start begging, as if they're more deserving of life than the helpless people they murdered. Kid sucks.Got carried by Law against Big Mom and thinks he did something more than push a Yonko slightly.
