Ok I have a question, how are you going to put the fuel tanks back in that big hole you just cut and fiberglass all that back together.its totally impossible, this was a horror to watch.you ruined a classic boat that will never be structurally sound, you cut all of the 4 hull stringers maybe left a 18 inch strip above the keel.Cant believe you would video and put this on RU-vid, any professional would never have cut that boat at all.Im still in total shock and believe this is the most ignorant thing I’ve ever seen. I hope you had to buy that boat from the owner.Stiil can’t believe this🥴
why not cut up the tank in the boat and bring it out in pieces ? the install smaller tanks that are connected to each other to give you the volume you desire
Very impressive gentleman - but would really like to see how you replaced the tank and most importantly the hull section while maintaining the hull integrity/strength ! the stringer must have been very particularly hard to repair as presumably the the new tank was on top of it. ???
I'd sack the lot of you on the spot. Pathetic solution to the problem, no care about safety, boat unsupported where you are working. Way too high a risk of secondary damage to vessel components. And you even managed to cut through a heavy stringer. I bet you just tabbed it all back in and told the customer job done..... Rank amateurs.
This has got to be the most IDIOTIC thing I have ever seen , to cut a HOLE! in a perfectly sound hull! If you did this to my boat you would be buying me a new one. This is not talent or craftsmanship it's laziness. Unbelieveable!
Typical water cops.willing to destroy the boats tied up on either side just to get to some fresh donuts, either that or they heard someone short a life jacket or horn. sad really
We just did this on a grand banks 42, managed to get them up into the cabin, cut them in half and get them out of the door, hard work! The tanks were disgusting inside!
@natureperson420 I'm aware of that, if you had read and understood my comment you would realize I'm familiar with the area. I even swam across the lake in the 80's when I was in my teens (Damons Pt to Bernhards Bay). Maybe you should lay off the 420 a bit. Here's one for you - Lake Okeechobee is the largest lake in Florida and the 2nd largest freshwater lake encompassed wholly in the lower 48 states
The Sherrif marine station is right down that way another 1/2 mile or so. Must have been shift change or trying to avoid overtime with them all coming in like that. Maybe a training excercise ? Everytime I have kayaked passed the station all the boats are tied up and unused. They do have some nice equipment though for just being used on Oneida Lake.
