I help you master your LUMIX cameras and grow your solo video business. I've been doing freelance video since 2012 and have been using LUMIX cameras since the GH4.
I found LUMIX cameras have fit my workflow perfectly because of the hybrid versatility. I've used the GH5 since it came out and currently am running a setup that includes the GH6, S5, G9ii and S5ii/S5IIX.
These videos will teach you how to get the most out of your LUMIX camera settings and features for cinematic video or simple content that needs pushed out quickly.
You can also expect videos on some great accessories that will help make shooting with LUMIX even better.

Can't decided if i should go s5iix or fx3 in 2025. The company i work for shoots with the a7siii and a7siv, but I really want to have my own camera again. I wonder how well does the s5iix cut with Sony footage?

I'm waiting for my S5ii as I type this. One of the things I plan on using the open gate feature for is for visual effects. Having a 6K image to work with, I can shoot green screen shots and then key out the GS and have that 6K to work with in a 4K timeline. Plus, I am finally moving back to full frame after shooting with the FX30 for a couple years. I am pretty excited about it. And I would have picked up the S5ii even if it didn't have open gate. I think LUMIX colors are more natural overall. What I see with my eyes, is usually what I see with LUMIX footage. Having shot a feature film with the GH5 a few years ago, I really have missed working with LUMIX.

You should shot this open gate. That way you’ll get 2:35-2:39 aspect ratio

You can just make a node tree template on davinci resolve that transforms ANY camera colour profile (as lomg as you know what it was shot in) and converts it into rec.709 with colour correctic/grading in the middle. [Transform from camera profile to editing space] - [colour correcting] - [colour grading] - [film look*] - [transform from editing space to rec.709]. Seems just as easy to me as recording a normal video, all you have to do is input your camera setting once

Whats your methods when dealing with difficult white balance corrections using the S5iiX. I find it hard to recover certain images well from this sensor. Curious what everyone is doing to get perfect WB results in photo and video.

Zeiss Lens Wipes are an absolute NECESSITY for me. Sure, I use a microfiber cloth MOST of the time, but sometimes it just seems to leave streaks, no matter what I do. At those times, I use the Zeiss Lens Wipes and everything is nice and clean. As for the items in yoiur video, looking very much at the V-Mount plate and a Dummy Battery. I would probably get the V-Mount to NPF Battery adapter though, because I have a ton of those NPF batteries and only one V-Mount battery, and it is really big (not like those SmallRig batteries).

If you're crafty, I suggest giving more reinforcement to the screen. While touching it vertically, you can notice slight movement up and down while using. Wasn't a fan from day one. Not on a $2700 camera. SO: Using at least 1mm thickness of plasticard: Take roughly a 2cm x 1.5cm piece of black plasticard fixed to the BOTTOM of the camera (does not interfere with the black mamba or camera at all) along with around a 1mm x 2cm piece to place ABOVE the screen portion. I used a tad of superglue, and now this thing feels so secure when I close/operate the screen. (Just create a ledge at the bottom and fill the gap at the top)

Nice video but you missed one thing: The Sigma is locked into a stair-stepping aperture. Either Lumix or Sigma is blocking it from smooth ramping open and close. This Sigma lens is NOT blocked on the Sony system. It opens and closes in video in a silky smooth and buttery way. The Lumix lens IS allowed to smooth ramp. I called Sigma on this and over the phone they told me "No,...it's not our fault, our lens can do it if the camera allows it" When I talked to Lumix, they also said it was not their fault and that it must be Sigma's fault. Anyway, I returned the Sigma and replaced it with the Lumix on this reason alone.

You’re a godsend. My new G9M2 arrives tomorrow and I’ve spent the last two days reading the online owner’s manual (844 pages!!!). The OM is loaded with details on how to change settings, but is weak on criteria for making decisions and has no recommendations. There’s no substitute for professional advice. Thank you for making the videos related to the G9M2. I subscribed!

the lumix 24-70 has a hardware flaw. the aperture glitches as you zoom in and out. I sold it because of this flaw. hilariously sad that it's smooth enough to do slow zoom shots, but the aperture snaps around ruining shots.
