Brief videos of the stadium experience at sporting events across the U.S. and Canada. These videos compliment the detailed stadium reviews that can be found at www.stadiumandarenavisits.com
a conference for Northern Illinois on the NCAA D-I B (FCS), that include them and all the FCS teams in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio (that no any FCS team in Michigan): 1: Northern Illinois 2: Illinois State 3: Indiana State 4: youngstown State 5: Dayton 6: Southern Illinois 7: Western Illinois 8: Eastern Illinois 9: Butler 10: Valparaiso
I love it! That checks all the boxes and fits in really well as a football conference at that level. I'm hoping to tackle the FCS level as well down the road, but it certainly will be tougher when trying to account for other sports like basketball as well. I'd hate to break up the MVC so there might be some swaps to make that work (like UIC for Northern Illinois)
@@stadiumandarenavisit Another option is to do that the MAC is the only 12 teams conference and bring Northern Illinois (that left without a conference) and Youngstown state and bring into this conference the Iowa schools (Drake and Northern Iowa) or 2 from the Kentucky schools (Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State or Murray State) or som combination between them
Thanks! Below is a copy of the Google Doc. The second tab features all of the teams alphabetically, so you can mess around with them easier. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AB-G_Qv7v8wtWomi7RSz5XkpN7W466DqvWTI1qUDDJM/edit?usp=sharing
@@wolfofthewilds I don't have a doc version of that, but here are the maps: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1DDMZ5JZ5JfkmmQIc6a3WWj0xkjSG5a4&usp=sharing www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1pTPO472bNw0MatFmlw_HIWtr6-cjVTU&usp=sharing
Impossible but pretty solid job! 10 member conferences allow for a true round robin. 3 out of conference with 1 regional ‘rival’ and 2 made for ‘TV’ matchups. Wouldn’t drop as many ‘back’ to the FBS ranks. Would have creatively factored another conference. Also considered an ‘Independent conference’ or grouping with Notre Dame, Army, Navy Greed and lack of understanding of the importance of the fan base, and Olympic sports have derailed the beauty of this sport. I have a feeling that it will get larger before it gets smaller again. Solid take!
Thanks, much appreciated! Yeah, I agree, I wasn't a fan of dropping that many to FCS, especially UB - Temple - NIU. I think you're right in that you could probably make a 14th conference with those and the other teams, whether it's Independents or bringing up some other teams
wym "olympic sports" Like track and swimming? How did those mess up CFP? feels like the other way around TBH because of the money involved with CFP causing confrence realignment in the first place.
@@twinstalkitup Ohhh, you were saying lack of understanding olympic sports and fan base, I thought you were saying lack of undersatnding of fanbase was a seperate reason
I think there's a lot of factors involved, but travel between the two areas likely is a very low one. In fact, it's pretty easy to get from Manhattan to Harrison, NJ via the PATH (train).
This showed up in my recommended videos. I read your review of the stadium. A very good and thorough review, but your compass was a little off. The side of the field with the press box and luxury suites is the north side and the side with the lower and upper level is the south side. Thus, the end zone with the tents is the west end zone and the other end zone near the historical display of the stadium and the main entrance is the east end zone.
It’s cool to hear that Barking is still used by a few sports fans. I recently shared my history on another RU-vid posting about Barking like what we all have heard from time to time. 35 or more years ago, 1988 or so, me and a group of Garfield High School recent grads and soon to be graduating students from the same high school in zip code 90022 East L.A. (from the movie Stand and Deliver) would go cheer on our Bulldog Mascot. We would Bark, “Ruff, Ruff” “Woof, Woof” in honor of the Bulldog. This was during 1985; 1986. Then, a major exposure was made in 1987, one of our barking pals joined the Garfield High School Marching Band at Dodger Stadium, they all start barking and it spread like wildfire. Then comedian Arcenio Hall adopts it to his T.V. Show. That’s my memory.
Buffalo first goal his __ of the season scored by number 77 JJ PETERKA!! Assisted by number 24 dylan Cozens and number 25 owen power. Peterka from Cozens and power at 10:05.
D3 Football - Walsh University vs University of Findlay (stadiumandarenavisits.com/visitsreviews/tom-benson-hall-of-fame-stadium/). Walsh discontinued their football program a few years after this game
Seems the Eagles luck has run out. Winning over Buffalo because of a horse collar not called that would have led to a touchdown and Buffalo winning. Should have lost to Wash twice. Lucked out against KC. If Dallas blows the Eagles out, forget about it.
