oh I am recalling my elementary years… great Mr Buencamino! This is my recital piece in the 60’s… I lost already the original manuscript, hence I can only play this by ear and not complete anymore… how I wish to play this again with gusto!
Kunti na lamang po ang mga classical musicians dito sa Pilipinas. Sana madagdagan pa sila. This is the best version of Liszt's Liebestraum no. 3.I can hear the musicality and binigay niyo po talaga ang soul and heart niyo in this piece❤
Hello, good day, Sir. I'm a beginner at the piano, 6 months of experience and self taught. I'd like to know if there are any pieces by Francisco Buencamino that are fit for my skill level. All the pieces I know from him are quite virtuosic and advanced, I can't seem to find beginner friendly pieces by him. I asked here because I figured that if anyone knows if he had easier pieces, then it would be you, his relative. Salamat po.
You can start with his 6 pieces which you can download from www.imslp.org. Being a beginner you might be able to try 3 pieces from there. Bahay Kubo, Leron Leron Sinta, and A la Viva del Amor. I have recorded it. Listen to it and see if you can tackle it.
It is time to have friends who have a piano. It is not fair to suffer like this. I understand pianos are not cheap but if you really desire to learn you can be resourceful to find places that have a piano you can play and practice, be it friends you have or public places that can accommodate you. Do not lose hope.
I would like to apologize for the question I posed a couple of weeks ago. I got concerned how you knew my friend's name. I just realized that I greeted her at the end. I am so sorry. Thank you so much for your compliment. Please accept my apology.
@@mmbofjc Oh, no worries it was an honest mistake. I would react the same way if I forgot or didn't realize a greeting like that either. Hope to see more videos from you.
Hi Martin, Greetings from California! I really enjoy listening to your excellent interpretation of your granduncle's piano works. He is my favorite Filipino composer who wrote impressive pieces for piano solo. I have a question to ask. Could you kindly give me the titles of the two pieces that @ImWalde shared with you? I would like to check it against my catalog of Buencamino works. Thank you very much.
By the way, have you came across the score for piano solo or piano four hands of "Mensaje de Amor" by Buencamino? It was published by Llanes Sisters Music Store in the 1960s. I'm very curious to know about this unfamiliar work. Thank you. @@mmbofjc
