Hello People! This channel contains all about design, nature, and arachnids. So, If you want to get inspiration about how to set up things like terrariums, vivariums, or even tarantula enclosures, I'm here to help you! All I do here are based on my own experiences, so I really hope it did something good for you all! Thanks!
It’s always nice to see a keeper go the extra mile to try and give a natural environment . Isn’t that like half the fun ? Seeing your pet roaming around as if it’s back in Africa out in search of a meal . What’s fun about looking at a dish of sand and one piece of bark ? I’m thinking this is like putting you in a room with white walls , and nothing on them . Then a bed and sink and hot plate . Kinda sounds more like a jail cell to me .
I love the look 😍 i like sand desert 🏜 style and i like the middle section with the piece of wood its like a cool wooden shelter made by an animal brilliant i hope your scorpion likes it
This will be very useful videos as I have recently completed a diorama of a model railway scene and would like to protect it. The acrylic seems to be quite expensive but I will go for it. Thanks for sharing 👍
This is so much better than all the other vids. Insee most peiple just toss their tarantula right in a pool of water. This is how they hunt sometimes and they gotta do itnon their own. Awesome setup bud
That was really cool. I was looking for the info on how to build acrylic enclosure for my jumping spider and came across one of your videos and then watched few more. You are very detail oriented and I really liked your way of explaining everything. Liked and Subscribed right away 👍
Oohh I really appreciate that!! Your words mean a lot to me. For the materials, I bought them from a local e-commerce store so I don't think putting the link will help my viewers, maybe you can find similar materials at your local stores?
I’ll be making a few this weekend I got all the supplies I need and instead of hinges I’m going to use magnets. And I’ll be putting vents on top and bottom of the door so I have a clear view inside. Thanks for doing this video and giving me some great ideas. Wish you all the best and hope you have a great day bud 🙋♂️✌️
Scorpions don't need much water and they can get their water needs from their prey and also you can spray water once a week to the enclosure wall and they can drink from it.
Ahaha, thanks for the advice but this species doesn't burrow and it makes its own hiding spot using its webbings, that's why I put a lot of branches for the anchor points. And I never place any water dishes in my tarantula enclosures, simply because they don't need it.
Its plastic cement. A clear liquid that "welds" the two pieces of acrylic together rather than gluing. The cement slightly melts the two pieces together and then evaporates. Just search for "plastic cement" or "acrylic cement".
