Hey Juan this is Lukas would you recommend the 260 over the lazer for the 67” series cause I’ve been wanting to get one also how do you think it will do for IMAC
I am learning these, I'm an average 3d pilot but I honestly you are missing a big technique on these elephant walks, it's a big mistake to keep throttle almost constant, you are getting the plane more bouncy and less tail wag. IMO this maneuver really should hi-light the tail wag. IMO you need to pulse the throttle keep the plane more on the flat side and watch the tail magically wag back and forth. The burst of throttle at the right moment helps the slide and wag. Jase has a good video with his stick movements and the elephant walks are next level. You are a much better pilot than me but having seen yours and Jase's there seems to me a big difference.
hi! I really appreciate your comment! I'm definitely not an expert in this maneuver. I've seen it performed in a number of different ways (sometimes more tail wagging, sometimes more bouncing up and down...). I'll make sure to take a look at how Jase does it and pay attention to his throttle inputs and give that a try myself :-)
Hi, Are you still satisfied with these servos. I bought a 67inch plane and need servos now. The theta and savox servos are just very expensive compared to the Frsky ones
The rifle roll technique is simpler than the rolling harrier, as you don't have to worry about throttle control in rifle rolls. Rifle rolls are particularly challenging due to the high roll rate. If you slow them down enough, they're definitely easier than rolling harriers in my opinion, and a good first step towards rolling harriers for those that are new to it.
@@skyboundrc i could definitely see that, im getting decent on the sticks, just the super high roll rate stuff is challenging for me. We need a tutorial on the maneuver that looks like the elephant walk but in a knife edge!
Phoenix is visibly abandoned. AccuRC also seems not much maintained. Have you tried Heli-X and neXt sims, or AccuRC for planes? So far neXt was the one in the free demo that felt the closest to real for me, but Heli-X demo planes aren't what I usually fly.
Juan, I really appreciate your step-by-step approach. Your method makes it easier to learn by stepping through each critical step. Looking forward to all your other videos. Thanks so much!
FrSky X20RS:The X20RS is an upgraded version of the X20R, with additional features that enhance its performance. It may include improvements such as hall sensor gimbals, more advanced internal components for faster processing, or extended range capabilities. The "RS" typically indicates a higher performance or "Racing" variant within FrSky's product line. The X20PRO Aerowing Edition is the top-tier model in this lineup, specifically designed for precision flying and racing. It includes premium features like CNC-machined aluminum gimbals for smoother and more precise control, faster processing speeds, and perhaps enhanced telemetry capabilities. The "Aerowing Edition" suggests it has been further optimized for advanced users who require the highest level of performance, particularly in competitive flying or specialized aerial activities.
Great interview. Side note - Booma AR Pro line servo cables are the best on the market - they are the only cables I fly now due to reliability and shielding.
Learn about myelin sheath in the brain and you will understand why is old guys have a hard time learning new things and committing them to subconscious and muscle memory.
SteffenRC pointed me in your direction. Outstanding content on 3D. I am starting with Twisted Hobbies 32" Crack Yak..in RealFlight and in 'real life' to get the 3D basics before transitioning to something more $$. Adam at AV8RC was very helpful in pointing me in that direction as a starting point. Looking forward to your series. All the best Juan!
Thank you Mr Juan. I recently started loving the fixed wing rc hobby. Is there a modern flight simulator for 3d acrobatics planes like in this video ? Just like fpv guys have lift off simulator or Feel fpv simulator ! The ones i found for fixed wing are old amd difficult to downoad or buy ?
