The lightweight definition throws me off. I have the furai action idw prime. And the lightweight is very offputting. They definitely should have had diecast in this figure.
I just reported this guy for click bait for promoting Planet of the Apes and it being another movie. The movie was awesome and I finished however I still hate him for the disappointment 😂😂😂😅😊 seriously though do the same
Based on the metal build festival last weekend It does seem that they do slight color variations for different releases as we have seen with the strike freedom
Cool video! Didnt realize metal robots were so small either… Do you have any recommendations on packing the model kits for the flight back? Was planning to loosely cut up the runners and put it on the carry on but idk if I’ll be fast enough to get through all of the kits in between traveling. Somewhat afraid to be any kits in the checked luggage and risk runner damage
I did not utilize any packaging materials for the return flight, as I had sufficient space in my luggage to accommodate additional items. Therefore, I did not require any packaging. In my opinion, plastic bags obtained from retail stores or t-shirts would likely be the most suitable option to give it some cushion. I can comprehend your concerns regarding the handling of luggage by airlines, particularly in the United States, where mishandling is more prevalent. For the Japanese leg of your flight, I don't think that will be an issue
This makes me really happy to see. The G Gundam and Zeta Gundam Metal Builds look great. I'd never expected a transforming Metal Build, especially with Bandai constantly making minor changes to existing figures and selling them.
On HLJ site you need to change your payment currency to japanese yen. The Yen is weak against the US dollar, so the conversion from yen to usd makes the Mazinkaiser SKL around $206 plus a couple more dollars depending on your banks conversion rates but still better than $245.27
Isn't it crazy that the Mazin Emperor G is a retooled Mazinkaiser mold and the CCS Mazinkaiser SKL is a retooled Great Mazinkaiser mold. Also the fact they are releasing so close to each other. Its like Dynamic planning told them to do it. LOL.
I sure do hope so. I bought the Flametoys Alteisen thinking I'd never get another Alteisen figure but then suddenly CCS drops the news of them doing one.
In my opinion the main issue with what looks to be a very good action figure can be explained from two different perspectives. 1- It's either very expensive for a pre-assembled and pre-painted model kit. 2- The materials are not nearly good enough for an action figure in this price range. The truth is that when Flame Toys first announced this line on their FB page they suggested that this was just going to be a less expensive Kuro Kara Kuri line of action figures. They said it was going to be smaller, it would have a bit less paint, a bit less diecast but it would be a very high end action figure line. They never talked about pre-painted and pre-assembled model kits with model kit plastic and no diecast whatsoever. I bought the first release (Optimus Primal) through preorder without watching any review and I was very disappointed in the materials. I was expecting way more from the god like prices action figure company everyone was talking about so much. The thing about Flame Toys is they have very good ideas, very good designs and some amazing licenses but they are trying to convince the market that they are high end because they charge a lot for a figure and they stock out fast. I know that this just a marketing strategy in this dog eat dog economy of superfluous buying hobbies and some of their products (specially the Kuro Kara Kuri line) are of a very good quality and may be considered high end but they are sooooooo damn overpriced. Other Chinese companies like Moshow or Heatboys charge almost a third of the price for the exact same quality, some releases from these companies may be 3rd party without licensing but they charge around a third and when you're talking about 650USD a pop it's a third is just to damn much.
As for Ultimate Dancouga,it was a new combination for Dancouga for SRW 30th. The thing is,the Ultimate Dancouga came as it is with no combination so the fact that the Dairyuga that combines into Ultimate Dancouga is designed by Masami Obari himself pretty much says that Goodsmile Dancouga is the canon toyline for Dancouga. I do love how the Hagane Works Dancouga has a waist swivel,is huge, has decent articulation especially for Goodsmile and has an actually good Eagle Fighter. I don't have any regrets buying it whereas the Brave Stuff I have some due to Goodsmile being allergic to giving my bots waist articulation.
The goodsmile dancouga I skipped on just because I have the Sentinel Final dancouga and didn't think I needed another one, but based on how this one turns out, I may get it.
@CZEN2 Oh I can definitely understand that. The Sentinel may have gaps and is small but the articulation is unmatched. The ab crunch, the better die-cast butterfly shoulders for the latest release along with the OVA Wings set added in the Final does give points.
Any news on them releasing something like Draias? I actually don't usually like taking transforming Brave merchandise because the transformations often limit proportions, but I'm curious to how capable their development teams are. Like if I was to compare the SRC Black Might Gaine to this Good Smile one then. While one had better heft and has the transformation, the other has a sleeker look. And of course I simply love having the villains to compete with the Braves. It should be a given, honestly.
I haven't heard anything about any villain brave figures. The last I remember was the smp Draias, which was a p-bandai exclusive. Kotobukiya also released a Dino geist, but those are models and not figures. From what I have read in years past about the industry is most companies don't release villain figures, mostly because they don't sell as well as the hero figures. Maybe that has changed in recent years since the time I heard that, but based on most releases, probably not. There are many exceptions of course, but on average, that seems to still hold true.
@@CZEN2 God damned P-Bandai keeps finding new ways to torment me. Sometimes it's a cool model kit, sometimes its a combiner; always getting in the way.
@CZEN2 Yeah, I have no clue why they called it that. It makes things really confusing. Either way, all you technically lose is a darker and glossier paint job similar to Great Mazinkaiser's
my family and i went to japan last year. i wasnt even into gundam / gunpla that time, but after that trip and 15 months later. i got 51 kits now. LMFAO.
Your experience in Amazon is the same as mine in Australia. Even a little worse. I ordered a transformer in this present generation of open box. Then placed the sticker on the back which covered most of the back, and sent it that way. Nothing missing fortunately, but utterly lazy.
Yeah, for whatever reason they no understanding of high-end figures and how they should be shipped. When I use Amazon Japan, I don't have that problem, but I usually have to pay a ton for shipping.
@antoniotrabuccop4727 Mazin Emperor G was only able to achieve it because ZERO hadn't taken over Koji yet, and it had the help of Shin Getter, Beserk Eva unit 01, and many others. Great Mazinkaiser had no help.
In my opinion, the term "justify" may not be entirely appropriate in this context, as it is largely a matter of perspective. Additionally, it is important to consider the recent inflation that has affected the pricing of various goods and services. The current market value of the item in question is closer to $300, excluding shipping and handling costs. Furthermore, the Sentinel product offered specific features that aligned with my preferences, such as die-cast components and enhanced articulation. Consequently, I opted for the Sentinel product over alternatives like the Might Gaine. I will closely monitor future releases, such as the upcoming Fighbird from Goodsmile, to assess if they address some of the concerns I have identified.
If you can make a whole video on putting all the packs together into 1 amalgamation, as is apparently possible according to Bamco themselves, then please!
I don't know if I've ever tried to put all the packs on one unit I have seen multiple packs on, but usually, it can't stand under that much weight but I'll take it under consideration
