Hello ,im a dental student ,its my last year im about to graduate and i want to achieve more by getting a master degree,is there any program that i can sign or scholarship?! ..any advice can help
I won't go with TC bur! For it is too coarse! I do like another type of margin for the reasons: 1) It covers the entire tooth, which is very aesthetically. 2) It takes not 1 mm from the margin line. 3) It is not flat or J shaped. 4) It does not destroy much of tooth. 5) It gives enough space for porcelain thickness and color. 6) It is up to the the gingiva/tooth line/contact or 0.3 mm deeper! 7) I use a retraction thread to retract the gingiva 0.5 mm (for the space horizontally and 0.3 mm deep) I need to work, but it does not meant: I must take 1 mm from each sides/around the tooth!
Dude the tooth did not have a cavity. Why are you showing us how you missed a a proper diagnosis and why are you not using a rubber dam? Looks like the patient had severe periodontal disease that was not addressed.
What was the diagnosis and treatment plan that caused this patient to have a perfectly healthy tooth destroyed with such a radical tooth preparation. The fact that you posted this makes my skin crawl.
