That olive tree is in Palestine, precisely in Bethlehem not Israil, which is a colonial imperialistic project that didn’t exist until UK/US created it in 1948

I'm from Guyana. We once had 5 guava trees in our yard, and each one bore a different variety of guava. I also knew other people who had different guavas from the ones we had. Grafted? Have you ever climbed a guava tree and sat on a limb 15 to 20 feet above the ground? No sir, grafting came up in recent decades in Guyana.

In 1992, I got carried away and planted 1,000 trees, drip irrigation, the works. By 1995 I had fruits up to my ears. I should have studied the organisms in the soil. Then disaster, trees just dried up and all beautiful trees just dried and died. I dissected the young trees and found a "worm" in the core wood. The culprit looked like a catterpillar with a large head. I lost the specimen which I was preparing to send to IFAS in U of Florida. So I did not have an answer. I replanted about 30 and 18 made it. They are now blooming. Incidentally, one sapling I gave to a friend in Fort Pierce had a healthy growth, leaves did not drop and no fruit. On warm winters with intact leaves, I painstakingly pulled the foliage off some and they are productive.

Hi! I just identified some leaves from plants that appeared out of nowhere in my front yard - four of them and they are growing very quickly - identified on a plant identifier app as pecan trees. Is this possible? I am in Northern California. The leaf, with its pointed tip and serrated edges, looks exactly like the leaf of the pecan tree in photos. I have no idea why these trees would be going growing here except that I did feed pecans to wild turkeys for a while a few years back. Any ideas? Thanks
