I'll answer my own question. It's a straight path. I haven't seen a straight path row in decades. Not sure why you would make such an amazing versatile machine and then NOT have a divergent path 🤯
Isn't the difference that when loading the weight on the upper pins the resistance is greatest at the bottom of the squat whereas when loading the weight on the lower pins the resistance is greatest at the top of the squat?
I got one of these. You have an issue with the resistance on the machine. You need an easy way to attach some kind of band so you can get a good resistance at top and bottom.
@@Plastermaster91 It's good enough for the average casual 2 days a week lifter I suppose. Anyone with a few years experience will notice something feels off about it and it lacks full range of motion tension. I ended doing a set of these and right away doing a cable version such as Cable Leg Extension. You just don't feel a good tension for the full range of motion without bands or cables attached.

What??!? This adds nothing to a barbell any 2 oly plates. I built a wooden frame with an old padded bench top that pivots as you lift. Cost me £15 in 5x3 timber and took an hour to make.
