Alot of new games here, Not in any particular order but 1- Bioshock 2- Devil May Cry 3 3- Torment Planescape 4- Painkiller Black edition 5- Cyberpunk 2077 6- Resident Evil 7 7- Hitman Blood Money 8- Borderlands 2 9- Kingdom Come Deliverance 10- Portal 2 The Rest while good there are just certain landmark games and TBFH you should break them down by genre really its not fair to really exclude some of the greatest games due to Un comparative nature.
Playing this game right now... You people are delusional. The game is still a buggy mess (I’m on Xbox Series X so no excuse), has multiple glitched and messed up areas and features (just a few examples: Broken TV audio, loud to quiet to off radio, broken npc pathing, floating objects and NPC, randomly flying cars, audio cut offs in cetain areas, untouchable apartment features (Judy’s specifically doesn’t allow you to sleep, turn on or off radio or close windows anymore) and so much more) The DLC as cool as it is also has numerous bugs. Another example is how radio hosts are completely dead. Mike Pondsmith on Morro Rock never talks anymore. Only Growl works and she repeats the same two broadcasts over and over again. The game has lost a lot of what made it unique (Ripperdocs now have uniform inventory, no unique cyberware so you can pretty much ignore them all besides Victor and one Dogtown Ripper for the special DLC implants, a lot of good perks have now been removed in favor of a streamlined and bland style of play, I liked the Unique Netrunner Daemon perks you could get that did things after hacking... now their all gone for boring stat boosts to damage and freaking Hack “Queue”) This game was terrible before but it at least had character and good game design elements in it. Now it’s all been dumbed down similar to Fallout 4 simplification of perks and outright deletion of unique traits. Cyberpunk is now a even more bland shooter that you people encouraged into mediocrity... I can genuinely say I played games that Cyberpunk copied off of... and they did it better. Terrible shooter, terrible RPG, terrible fan base.... as you are consumers who ignore problems and eat whatever shlop the games industry put out nowadays... Sad, this could have been great. But as it stands it’s something that no one but a small, whiney, fanatic section of you people will ever remember...
I just noticed a minor Warframe mistake, in that the synthetic Orokin creations involved in jumping to the Tau system were Sentients, not Sentinels. Sentinels are ally drones like what was shown in your pic.
Skyrim? Each corner is unique and interesting? Oh…a copy-pasted dungeon with Draugr. So unique and interesting. What’s next? Oh…a copy-pasted dungeon with Draugr. 🤡
I trusted Cerys so much that I didn't hesitate for a moment to yeet that baby into the furnace. Great quest and I suspected something was up when she said to burn the kid. Also, the Oblivion mansion quest was, to this day, one of the best and most creative quests of any RPG I've played.
I am very mad RDR2 wasnt on this list. RDR2 is still one of the most impactful and emotional games to date, and it will remain so for a very long time.
@@FranklyGaming I'm not sure if the rouge human faction wanted the conduit. I am pretty sure though that this faction existed for human rights reasons. This war led to Klaus (not the trinity processor), one of the scientists researching the conduit aboard the space station to become nihilistic and activate the conduit. The trinity processor does not control the conduit and cannot activate it, it only manages it for the sake of its human masters. Klaus activated the conduit for the sake of creating a new universe regardless of what would happen to Earth in the process. All life was wiped out save for Klaus and his assistant Galea, who were granted the power of gods by the conduit becoming the gods of the new universe that was created. All the life that exists after was created by Galea and Klaus, now known as Meyneth and Zanza/the Architect. The titans on which the games take place were also created by Meyneth and Zanza not the result of human advancement from surviving humanity.
I mean, the witcher lore is cool but what's the point if we'll never see any of it? It's all completely pointless because the witcher can't be any more than a classic medieval fantasy. Like you said, they can do cool stuff and it would technically make sense within the lore, but they never will.
Here we go Another super relaxing night for me🥺 Not just the narrative, but the way you speak, so relaxing…. It can’t get any better. Thank you frank!!
Everything made by polish people is connected theory Past - Witcher Present - Blok Ekipa Future - Cyberpunk Far future - Kapitan Bomba I have nothing to back up this theory because i made it up, fu
Assassin's Creed is a favourite of mine when it comes to lore, i realised just how much i loved the lore just after AC 1 because i really wasn't a fan of the gameplay of the first game at all but i was completely captivated by it and couldn't wait to play more just because of how interesting the ideas were, and despite the drastic shifts in quality across the series, the concept of the Animus is a phenomenal Sci Fi concept that has infinite potential, and has kept me interested in seeing what's next even during the worst moments in the series
There is a ton to love about it honestly I did enjoy a good bit just didn’t really adore it like others thought it was lacking in a lot of ways too. Definitely see why people love it though
I’m sorry but the vault with 900 men and 1 woman sounds like an absolute nightmare, no way in damn hell would there not be rampant sexual abuse going on there. There was an actual real life case where 1 woman got stuck on an island with like 7 men during WW2, there was a lot of murder and a lot of sexual abuse done to her. That case was bad enough and I can only imagine how much more terrifying it would’ve been trapped in an enclosed vault with 900 men constantly fighting over who gets to “have” you and constantly getting abused and on top of that being forced to be pregnant around the clock, and any sons you have end up being murdered and any daughters you have will eventually meet the same horrific fate as yourself and that there is literally, absolutely, nothing that you can do to stop it or escape it(cause no way in hell would they let you escape)
I got to recommend the cryptic lore of Rain World. It has a similar grand civilization lost to time as some of the other titles in this video but with some spiritual and alien elements.
I like how as soon as you said there’s a better time travel mission than dishonoured I immediately thought of titan fall it’s not even my favourite level in the game but it’s still so fucking good
Also please make an entire essay on death stranding you put my thoughts I can never put into words right there and I always hate when people say it’s just a walking sim it’s such a genuinely beautiful game that gets you hooked
Nice video! I definitely would add the lore of the „gothic“ games … gothic 1 released in 2001 is about a prison mining colony which was sealed under a magic dome but was eventually taken over by the prisoners who split in 3 different camps … absolutely a must play and the community still releases mods and updates
@@FranklyGaming I‘m from Germany, here these games are very famous and I always wonder if people in other countries also notice this „treasure“🤔 It’s was pretty bugy tho but the atmosphere is sure one of the best

19:56 The Fallout show is not canon, no matter what Todd Howard says. Vault Tec collaborated with the Enclave for Project Safehouse, each Vault an experiment to test different conditions for the Enclave's goal of building a spaceship to leave Earth. The fact they had the audacity to include Mr. House and Fredrick Sinclair in that meeting, to discuss Vault experiments and when to drop the first bomb boils my blood. Anyone who loves New Vegas would know those two would never approve of the plan, especially for the imbecilic reason of capitalism because the writers are Californian hacks.
10:50 FNAF went off the deep end after 3, Scott admitted he was just making things up as he went along. It should've been a simple story of possessed animatronics, with them finally granted peace in 3 after dealing with Springtrap. But no, greed ended up ruining everything until Scott was kicked out of his own franchise for wrong think, how appropriate.
@@FranklyGaming Its lore is hindered by Bungies inability to capitalize on the true potential of Destiny’s setting. In reality it’s one of the greatest fictional universes ever. Bungies just bad at writing.
God the deus ex universe is hands down one of my all time favourite, its so well put together and filled with secrets and questions, the similarities with things happening today and have happened is mind blowing
3:27…..welp looks like the mere mention of a something deadly being made in a “Chinese research lab” is a new trigger for me….thanks Covid lol. Great vid btw I live for lore
@@sebastianherrera6514 ya I know a lot of people aren’t into it I’m definitely on the side of embracing AI hell if it could just do entire videos better than me I’d do that. Dont think my ego of doing it matters at all just the art that is produced to make it the best quality for you guys.
Me hearing about tyranny for the first time and noticing so many similarities with the lore of Genshin... Since I started understanding genshin some years ago, I started noticing how many games pull from Gnosticism xD
About Cyberpunk lore - did anyone actually caught that Mr. Blue eyes might actually be a proxy for AIs? The lore with that game is crazy and so deep. I love this game so much
And there’s Mass Effect - I’m saying this for like a fourth time here, but I’d give a lot to experience ME once again without any prior knowledge of the events. Reading about Leviathan of Dis, Meeting Sovereign or many, many more… Why it didn’t get Fallout treatment? There was show once in production w/ Henry Cavil as Shepard attached…
