Thanks so much man. I’m house sitting at a place in Costa with a tilapia pond and they wanted us to eat as much fish as we could. my first crack was awful lol can’t wait to try again soon!
They're only "excellent" eating when they're young and small (about 20" in length or less). As they mature they become worm incubators and once fully grown they are massively infested with worms. The size you show is just about perfect.
Dexter, why didn't you cut out 2 cheek muscles in the halibut's head? Watch Gordon Ramsay's video 2:33 "How to fillet a Halibut" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-04K-lA088OY.html
1000 feet of water, and i think the deepest part of Lake Erie is around 125 ft. You can probably see over 100 feet down in Florida and can't see your feet walk in the water at Lake Erie! I'd love to live down there and get to fish for these monsters every weekend ❤🎉 Maybe someday.
They are not good for you at all they are full of omega-6 oil you're better off eating a pack of bacon by yourself then eating one of those fish they are very bad for your heart your cholesterol and everything else and that's a fact
Great video. I just finished my first tuna trip yesterday. We kept a few whole so we can learn to clean them ourselves. I'll be trying to clean my first one this afternoon. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
What a waste. You're throwing the skin which is more beneficial than the flesh itself, and gives you a much richer flavor plus omega 3 for your health. Try it .
